Update: No Worship Service on Sunday, January 25, 2026

Due to planned maintenance by our power company, Pacific Power, the church building will be without electricity. As a result, all worship services scheduled for tomorrow morning are canceled.

The sermon will be recorded and posted as a video at a later date. The business meeting and lunch have been rescheduled for Sunday, February 1, following the morning worship gathering.

Please help pass this information along to anyone who may not see this update.

No Youth Group Tonight but, join us for Broomball at the Lloyd Center!

Middle school, high school, college students, and parents are all invited for a fun night of food, fellowship, and broomball!

Schedule:

6:30 PM – Meet at the church for pizza

After dinner – Load up the church buses and head to the Lloyd Center

8:30–10:30 PM – Broomball on the ice

Return – Head back to the church following broomball

Cost: $30
(Includes pizza, broomball, and transportation)

Youth Group Kick-Off + Parent BBQ

We’re kicking off the new youth group year tomorrow and inviting both students and parents to join us for an evening of food, fun, and vision for the year ahead!

What to Expect:

BBQ dinner for youth and parents

A brief overview of the youth group plans for the year

Games and hangout time

Whether you’re new or returning, this is a great opportunity to connect and start the year strong. We’d love to see you there!

Come hang out with friends and enjoy a fun day of computer games at the church! We’ll be gaming from 10 AM to 5 PM August 9th, and lunch will be provided. Bring a snack to share if you can!

To make sure we have enough computers for everyone, please let Joshua Villwock know if you’re planning to come or Pastor Josiah.

All middle school and high school students! Instead of our regular youth group this Wednesday we are joining together with the West Hills Community Church March 26th, from 2 -7 pm for a Game Night. Bring a snack to share and a favorite board or card game if you would like. We will have hotdogs for dinner. Transportation will be provided from Salt Creek Church to West Hills leaving at 1:30 pm and returning around 7:45 pm. You can also drop in when ever works for you and meet us there.

This Friday all Middle, High school, college and parents welcome

Meet at Salt Creek Baptist Church for pizza at 6:00 and leave in the buses for the Lloyd center at 6:50pm

Lloyd Center Broomball from 8:30-10:30

Return to church at 11:50 pm

Joint youth group Board game day at West Hills Community Church. Come join us and have some fun! Bring your own lunch. Snacks and drinks provided. We will take a bus from salt creek at 9:30 if you would like a ride to west Salem.

It’s that time of year again! Get ready for a fun night of broomball. Make sure you sign up before Saturday and bring your friends! After the Christmas party at the church we will eat Pizza together at the church around 6:30pm then at 7pm we will load up the buses to head to the Lloyd center to play. Registration can be found on our website under the events page or by clicking the link in our bio and scrolling down to broomball.

On Sunday night we are getting together with the whole church to celebrate with music and go through the Christmas story. The kids and various people for church have been preparing music and some performances for us to enjoy and reflect on the reason for the season. Pizza will be provided around 6:30pm after the program before we go to broomball at 7pm.
