The first combine for Everyday People. Inspired by the NFL combine but remixed for Everyday People. Part competition, Part Party.

Spectating is cool but we prefer to get in the game and get our hands dirty. If you like moving weight in the gym and cranking out high intensity intervals, this is your playground. Or, if you are looking for a fun, fitness competition to shake up your world and check your gains, this is it. The Everyday People Combine is for everyday people who work hard and then like to play hard. We will be testing your strength, power, speed, agility, endurance and hustle in the form of 9 events.

EPC started with one idea: create a space for everyday people to test their athleticism and discover what they’re capable of.

Ten years later, that idea has become a community of athletes, coaches and people who have continued to believe in what we’re building. That’s what makes this really hard to share.

I’ve made the difficult decision to postpone EPC 10 to 2027. I’d rather give Year 10 the time it needs than move forward with something that doesn’t fully deliver on what EPC 10 should be.

I know some of you have been training for September 26 and getting ready to step on that field. I especially hate disappointing you, and I’m sorry we’re making this change so close to the event.

Every registered athlete has received an email with details about their registration and refund options. Please check your inbox and reach out to me with any questions.

EPC 10 is still happening. It’ll just be in 2027, and I’m going to use the time between now and then to keep building.

All my life, I’ve been an athlete. 🏃🏾‍♀️

Some of my earliest memories are trying to beat the boys at everything - running, football, basketball, whatever game was happening that day. It was never about being “better than them.” I just liked finding out what I could do.

Then I got older and realized... not everyone feels that way.

A lot of people hit adulthood and start getting smaller. Not physically - just in how they think. They stop trying new things. They convince themselves they “can’t do it” anymore.

But what if your body can still do things that surprise you?

Sprinting. Jumping. Playing. Running. Leaping. Lifting. Feeling powerful, strong, capable - I couldn’t find a place where everyday adults could experience that.

So I did what anyone in my position would do. I built one.

And that’s how EPC was born. 🧡

9 events. 3 domains. 1 AMP Score. An assessment for everyday athletes that shows you what you’re really capable of, down to the numbers. It’s not really about fitness. Fitness is just the vehicle. It’s about possibility, self-discovery, joy, the challenge, the team, the community.

Strength = 40% of your AMP score. The biggest single domain there is. 💪

Here’s what you’re training toward:
🔹 Bench Press — 175 lbs (M) / 75 lbs (W)
🔹 Trap Bar Deadlift — 225 lbs (M) / 155 lbs (W)
🔹 Pull-Ups — as many clean reps as you can manage

Save this post and build it into your training over the coming weeks:

1️⃣ Prioritize the trap bar deadlift first — it’s the highest standard relative to most starting points, and takes the longest to build safely.

2️⃣ Train bench for reps, not just a 1RM. You need it after 8 other events, not just under perfect conditions.

3️⃣ Pull-ups reward consistency more than any other event. No clean rep yet? Banded pull-ups + slow negatives, done consistently, close that gap fast.

Because strength is worth the most, it’s worth protecting your time for. 🔥

Meet your 2026 EPC Coach: Ryan Moore

Strength & Conditioning and Performance Coach based in Plano, Texas, with a career built across college athletics, football coaching, education, personal training, and gym ownership.

A former collegiate football athlete and coach, Ryan built his coaching philosophy around strength, speed, athleticism, conditioning, movement quality, and confidence. His years as a high school teacher and football coach gave him a unique ability to connect with people of every age and fitness level.

He spent four years owning and operating a fitness facility in North Dallas, training everyone from everyday adults working on their health to athletes preparing to perform at the next level. Today, Ryan serves as a Strength & Conditioning Performance Trainer at Performance Medicine Sports Therapy in Plano, helping athletes and active individuals build resilience and reach their goals through structured, performance-focused training.

Athletic strength & conditioning. Speed and agility. Functional movement. Sport-specific performance. Ryan brings all of it to EPC Day.
