Dallas-Sendai International Friendship Cities

DFW Runners! Join me to congratulate the runners representing Dallas in the 2020 Sendai International Half Marathon - Dane Batzel and Rebecca Roush aka Parsons. Dane is a tribute to this exchange program. He has stuck with us for 4 consecutive years. His loyalty along with speed and ambassadorship is finally being rewarded. What can I say about Rebecca other than being speedy she wrote one of the most impressive essays I've read. Then followed that up with an amazing interview. She is polished and mature beyond her years. I really look forward to leading this group to Sendai. Team Dallas will again present the other sister city teams a run for their money.
