Im in the process of setting up pitching clinic/ training clinic over Spring Break with Footdoctor Esia, March 9-10.
Esia specializes in human movement and athletic performance, and is an expert in explosive movements and generating power in the pitching motion.
The 3/9 clinics will be focused on Energy and Pitch Profile, with a 1 hour bonus clinic in lifting.
3/10 clinics will focus on Landing and Delivery of the pitch.
We will be offering 3 sessions per day, 2 hours per session, and a Saturday lifting EDU session.
We are SO lucky to have this opportunity to learn from him. He has worked with numerous NCAA softball programs including National Champions OU.

The subtlest of movements can often make the greatest impact in a pitchers speed and efficiency. Notice how the distance between the ball and front knee gets longer at her push, a small movement that makes all the difference in her timing. This movement will help to bring her leg drive and arm circle together, resulting in a quicker arm and greater use of ground force at her plant. In delaying her arm circle in her launch, she speeds up the arm to sync with her body through her finish, amazing. Poetry in motion•• • Such a gorgeous display of arm side hip internal rotation. As her front foot plants, you can see her right side hip is triggered to direct her energy toward her target, in perfect synchronization with her arm whip. Elbow leading, palm up, followed by a fast and loose “roll over” or her wrist and forearm.
