Supporting our immune & respiratory system. Diffusing YoungLiving’s and . I didn’t add tonight because I rubbed and sprayed in their mouth so they could wind down and get the much needed restful sleep they should get. This is all over the media. Our children are on technology more than we care to acknowledge. Let’s get real. They are still young and do not know what is true and what isn’t. Let them rest. Talk to them openly, honestly and provide age appropriate responses.

Many ISD’s have closed (or will eventually) be closed indefinitely. My heart aches. I teach mindfulness and yoga to these kids. They need it! Adults need it too! Let’s keep our practice together. Join me tomorrow. 30 mins with or without your kids. Maybe it’s your 30 min break, I get that too!! Let’s move, breathe and set positive intentions. We will overcome this!!! When you’re a childbirth educator and a prenatal yoga teacher 💁🏻‍♀️🤰🏻🧘🏻‍♀️ ... this is how my girls play with their dolls! 😳🥰😁 And then of course I had to tell them how that is not the best position to birth a baby. To which they replied, “Yea, we know mom! We can’t get her in a squat, so we’re just going with it like this.”

Gaby has been teaching yoga since 2008 and passionately brings the benefits of yoga and mindfulness to people of all ages and abilities. She teaches flow yoga and restorative yoga, yoga and mindfulness to children and teens, Prenatal Yoga, and Mommy & Me Postnatal Yoga.

Gaby was drawn to yoga when she found her constant backaches diminished and that she was less reactive, more peaceful and more mindful the more she practiced.

She received her 500-hour yoga certification in 2008, and then expanded with the second prenatal yoga teacher certification from Prenatal Plus Yoga in 2013 after experiencing the benefits of yoga throughout her pregnancies. She has served as a Certified Lamaze Childbirth Educator since 2010 and as a birth coach helping moms have natural births, and is a parent educator with Baylor. With her Live Free Yoga certification in 2017, she teaches yoga and mindfulness to the children and teens in DISD.

🔊💁🏻‍♀️Guess what? I am so excited to announce I’m back! 🙋🏻‍♀️👏🏼 Truth be told, I had many moments where I doubted and felt like everything around me was falling apart, including myself. During those times, I’m grateful for the incredible and amazing network of loved ones who have been there for me. They reminded me to trust in the process. The process that at times may seem and feel as if things are falling apart, but to rather see it as them falling into place. We are all where we are supposed to be, right here, right now! Much like in labor, you feel pain, you feel doubt, you resist the changes, you want to quit, and before you know it, your baby is in your arms. Lets share that process! You can now find me at teaching my passion!✨🌹Saturdays 🤰🏻Prenatal Yoga at 10:30am followed by 🤱🏻Mom and Me Yoga at 11:30am. New prenatal yoga class series will be starting in February on Monday’s at 6pm.

Adolescence is a stressful period, and in today’s society, teenage angst has taken on a whole new meaning. Studies estimate that almost a third of teens suffer from anxiety disorder, and the numbers may be on the rise, since social media use and screen time also has been linked to poor mental health in several studies.

Yoga can be helpful for teens suffering from anxiety, and even trauma. And we’re hosting a “Mindfulness for Teens” Training the weekend of Oct 19th-21st courtesy of Live Free Yoga, for anyone who would like to learn more and understanding how to reach teenagers through yoga and mindfulness.
