This is Coach Mike Hickmon.

Saturday night, he was shot and killed at a 9U game in Texas.

He was shot because some adults were mad at a referee, got into an altercation, and one of them pulled his gun and killed Coach Hickmon.

High School and Middle School Football starts this week. Travel and park ball is in full swing as well.

Before you walk into that stadium or park, I need you to say the following words:

IT AIN'T THAT SERIOUS

Your son is going to do some good things and some bad things.

Your son's Coach is going to make some great calls and some questionable calls.

The referees are going to throw flags for penalties that you don't see, and keep their flags in their pockets for things you think are pretty obvious.

Despite all that....

I promise you, the entire experience will be better if you commit to screaming as loud as you can when your team or son does something great, and being as encouraging as possible when the opposite happens.

He knows when it comes to the Bulldogs my trust with people are very slim, but yet he has my back. When he first came to the organization and saw it was just me running a football team and a dance team, his first questions was what do you need help with Mrs. Kim. Because of my lack of trust, he got a small assignment and took off from there and been going every since. After the passing of my son, I tried to keep pushing to keep my mind busy, but 4 months later, my assistant Ashley passed and with those two deaths same year a few months apart, my entire world had been shook up and I mental fall apart and my football team took a hit and has been on pause since 2016, but the General Manager for the football team, knows my vision and my purpose for this organization. Everybody kept telling him with all the s**t he does for the Bulldogs he may as well own the team or get his own team, no matter what people said or told him, he still here helping me get this team back off the ground. He said Mrs. Kim, things will come back together and we will just start from scratch if we have too. Despite is crazy schedule, he still manage to work behind the scene to get the Bulldogs football team back up and running. The Bulldog family has faced several tragic deaths and it hit this organization hard. Our last family member was recently laid to rest and in honor of Kealon BlackMamba Gilmore we have retired jersey number #24.

The Bulldogs are coming back soon and starting off in 8-man to get back in the swing of things, stay on the look out.

Dallas concert shooting victim worked at the US Post Office and helped transform the workplace culture, family says On Sunday, at least 300 people showed up at a vigil to say their goodbyes to 26-year-old Kealon Gilmore.

On this day 5 years ago the owners assistant for the Bulldog Organization passed away, just 5 months after her son past, Ashley did so much for this organization. That was and still is a hard pill to swallow because she was the right arm to this organization...literally and things haven't been right since 2016. PLEASE stop for a moment and say a quick pray for her family especially her kids.

Arlington Bulldogs Sport Organization was established in 2009 and we have been listed with IRS as being non-profit, but we do not legally have the paperwork to help with company donations.
