ABOUT our Sale Consignors:

Lazy D Farm was started by Eric DeBorde and his family in the 1980’s to add to his passion and love for the cattle, especially the Shorthorn Breed. Eric and Meredith DeBorde bring years of experience as consultants in the livestock industry from owning a livestock nutrition company, Top Line Nutrition, natural hoof trimming and serving the Shorthorn breed on the state and national levels. Their two sons, Brayden and Brigham DeBorde also own BCD Cattle Company and together they farm, ranch and are vested into a new venture of grazing dorper sheep on the Elm Branch Solar Farm in Ellis County, Texas. Brayden serves as an American Shorthorn Junior Association Board Member and has been successful in the livestock industry from a very young age. Brigham is also following in the family footsteps by successfully showing livestock and serving the TJSA as a Junior Director. Together, they have combined many years of experience and own successful genetics in the Angus, Charolais, Chianina, Hereford, Limousin, Maine-Anjou and Shorthorn breeds. Our motto has been “ain’t nothing lazy on Lazy D Farm” and our vast LOVE for GOOD, SOUND cattle reaches across many breeds. We have all been blessed to give back to an industry that has afforded us many years of champions in the cattle industry. We are here to serve our customers as a family and our hope is to spread our passion for cattle to the next generation.
