🚨New PWF lake announcement: 76 acre LeBlanc Lake in Guthrie, Oklahoma🚨

LeBlanc is a large, established lake with a tremendous forage base, plenty of fish-holding cover, and a particularly exciting opportunity for our crappie fishermen. The lake has a large population of crappie, including some impressive-sized fish, along with an abundant population of gizzard shad.

The largemouth bass population is currently relatively small, but the bass that are present tend to be above average in size. PWF plans to stock additional bass this coming spring, building on the lake’s strong forage base and setting the stage for the bass fishery to continue developing in the years ahead.

Apparently the fish at Double A Lake in Wills Point, TX haven’t heard of the “summer build”☀️👀

While many other fisheries will have bass with skinny stomachs and a reduced appetite due to the warm water temperatures, the 20+ fish and this 6 pounder from the latest fishing report were “all fat and healthy”. A testament to the intense management and stocking that we put into this lake and many of our others!

Fluke, crankbait, and big swimbait were the key players. As water temperatures slowly start to decrease, expect an increase in baitfish activity along the banks and in the creeks!
