Congrats Elijah Hines on a great senior season. He was one of the best 16 wrestlers in the state of Texas at heavyweight. He went 1-2 at the state tournament. He finished his season 30-6. Super proud of our Bearcats and Lady Cats today for their fight and grit on the mat. We have 4 wrestlers left and still battling for a chance to go to Houston. The boys team is currently in 9th place out 57 teams while the girls are in 29th place out of 46. On to day two. A great showing at the district tournament today! The Whitesboro wrestling team left it ALL on the mat—grit, heart, and nonstop fight from start to finish. Every bout was a statement, every win was earned, and every wrestler represented this program with pride.

The grind, the toughness—it all showed. Huge respect to the athletes and coaches for putting in the work and making Whitesboro proud. This team is BUILT different. 💪🤼‍♂️
