The mobile league management platform that helps organizers run better leagues in half the time.

AREENA started as organizers in 2018, launching leagues across 3 metros in Texas. We did everything - we hired referees, rented space, advertised online, all while developing our own tech to operate our leagues. At the end of 2022, we decided to open up our platform so that other organizers and players across the country could benefit from what we had created. We still operate leagues, enabling us

New year. New revenue. 👀

At AREENA, league growth isn’t driven by cutting admin time alone. It’s driven by player experiences people actually want to come back to.

That’s what fuels retention, engagement, and new revenue for leagues.

That’s why two of the largest league organizers in North America are onboarding with AREENA right now. They’re unlocking new revenue built directly into how players engage with their leagues.

Not one feature.
A system built to scale.

This is what leagues are building for 2026.

🚨 Just released!

Inviting players used to slow teams down. Links got lost, codes were mistyped, and sign ups often happened later or not at all.

After hearing feedback from league organizers, AREENA made team invites instant:
📲 Players scan a QR code and join on the spot
⚡ Perfect for the field or court when players are right in front of you
✅ Links and team codes are still available when you need them

When invites happen in the moment, more players finish registering, teams fill faster, and league organizers spend less time following up.

Less friction. Faster rosters. Smoother seasons.

⏱️ Follow up faster and move players onto teams with confidence

✅ Players can scan a QR code and join instantly
✅ Works right at the field or court, no typing required
✅ Still supports links and team codes when needed

🚨 Just released!

Free agents told us one thing was unclear. How to pay.

When payment is hard to find, players stall, teams stay incomplete, and league organizers end up chasing money.

Now AREENA makes it obvious:
💳 A dedicated payment button lives right on the Free Agent Team page
📲 Players see exactly what they owe and pay in one tap
✅ No backing out. No hunting for invoices. No confusion.

When payment is clear, free agents finish registering, teams activate faster, and league organizers spend less time following up.

📋 Governance and structure matter

Tonya from the Winnipeg Women’s Soccer League shares what it really takes to lead a 2,000 player nonprofit. Stepping into the role with coaching experience but little board background meant learning how decisions move through a governance structure, how member voices shape direction, and why slowing down is sometimes the smartest path forward.

To prevent burnout and support growth, Tonya restructured responsibilities by giving directors clear roles and bringing on an administrator to centralize communication. It is the foundation for long term plan to add paid staff and continue growing sustainably. ⚽

❄️ Space is scarce when winter lasts half the year

Tonya from the Winnipeg Women’s Soccer League explains how running a 2,000 player organization in one of Canada’s coldest cities creates a constant battle for indoor turf. With other leagues competing for the same facilities, has had to get creative.

That means expanding onto grass fields, balancing player preferences with reality, and being transparent about the tradeoffs. In Winnipeg, you either adapt or you stop growing. ⚽
