Drowning prevention organizations are founded and operated by people that have suffered tragic loss that want everyone to know the information that they wish they had known.

Today we’re honoring Gunner’s memory and the beautiful joy and love he brought into the lives of so many.

“Gunner is a fiercely loved little boy. He was the caboose to the family. He loved lions and loved to Rawrrrrr!!! His favorite colors were “geen and lellow” (green and yellow). His smile and laughter was contagious. I can still hear his little raspy voice singing “you are my sunshine”

A message from his family:
“Drowning does not discriminate… it does not care about race, politics or financial status. Fence your pool, pool fences save lives. If our pool fence had been up Gunner would still be here. You don’t want to live without your child knowing you could have prevented the accident that took them. A pool fence is prettier than a casket.”

As part of our Little Angels program, Gunner’s name was engraved onto one of our pool fence poles — a small but meaningful way to honor his memory while continuing to help protect other little ones. 🤍
