Are you a sharpened arrow in the hands of Elohim, or a blunt and ineffective one?

“As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man…” —(Psalm 127:4–5), so are we in the hands of God. And He entrusts His battles to those He has sharpened.

May you yield to the discipline of the LORD! Let Him sharpen you until you become a weapon in His hand, to bring down satanic kingdom. Amen

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐚𝐡
Although Scripture never calls the man of God from Judah a young prophet, the manner in which the old prophet deceived him suggests he was likely younger and perhaps less discerning.

“And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Beth-el… Now there dwelt an old prophet in Beth-el.” —1 Kings 13:1, 11

One of the most sobering parts of this account is that an old prophet lived in Bethel during one of Israel’s darkest seasons. King Jeroboam had established idolatry, built unauthorized altars, and led the nation into grievous sin—yet this prophet is never shown confronting it. But the moment a true man of God arrived with a fresh word from the Lord, he pursued him with deception.

Using the familiar language of spirituality, he said, “An angel spoke unto me…”—a lie that lured the man of God into disobeying the clear command of the Lord.

Be careful of evil associations cloaked in righteousness. 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬 𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭. Some wear the garments of light while laboring to extinguish yours.

The old prophet could not turn the nation back to God, yet he became an instrument in the downfall of the one sent to do it. Whether through jealousy, compromise, deception, or self-interest, the result was the same: a servant of God was diverted from his assignment.

As men and women sent by God, 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐨𝐮𝐬 “𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬” 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬. Not every voice that sounds spiritual should be followed. If God has spoken clearly, no prophetic claim, dream, vision, or “angelic encounter” should cause you to abandon His Word.

Young men, be discerning. 𝑵𝒐𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒔𝒐-𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 “𝒇𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉” 𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝑮𝒐𝒅. Honor is biblical, but discernment is essential. Never allow the voice of a man to override the voice of God. A light that has gone dim may seek to extinguish yours so that neither fulfills the Lord’s purpose.

The lesson of 1 Kings 13 is: 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧, let no dream, vision, or human voice cancel that word. Obey what God said, not what sounds spiritual. The safest place for your life and calling is under the authority of God's spoken word.

Your child is an arrow in your hands. How you shape and sharpen them determines who they become in a world filled with spiritual warfare.

A blunt arrow cannot prevail at the gate; it opens to every voice because it lacks discernment.

This is why the Word of God must be deeply rooted to guard and preserve their destiny when you are no longer there to make decisions for them.

The word of the Lord to 🇳🇬

“Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?

But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, (OH NIGERIA), and I will save thy .

And I will feed them that oppress thee OH NIGERIA 🇳🇬 with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.” — Isaiah ‬49‬:‭24‬-‭26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“The Lord will comfort those that MORN in Zion. — I, the Lord, I have risen, and the blood of the oppressed have risen to ME, says the Lord. So I will contend with all the oppressors of the land both home and abroad, because my wrath is kindled on them. They will feed with their own flesh, and be DRUKEN by their own blood. There will be a great massacre of themselves by themselves — the oppressor will not escape my judgement, says the Lord!

For no flesh or strange god can redeem or deliver from My hands. I am the only Redeemer, The God of all flesh.”

In days to come, all these shall come to pass. And you will know that I the Lord, I keep My covenant. Amen 🙏🏽

𝐒𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐯𝐬. 𝐒𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡— (𝟏 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟓:𝟏𝟔–𝟏𝟕)

Apostle John reveals that not every sin has the same spiritual outcome.
“There is a sin that leads to death, and there is sin that does not lead to death.” — 1 John 5:16.

𝐒𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 (𝐄𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧)
This refers to a persistent, willful rejection of God’s truth that hardens the heart against the Holy Spirit until genuine repentance is no longer possible. Basically, the unforgivable sin.

Esau serves as a solemn warning.
Hebrews 12:16–17 says that after despising his birthright, “he found no place for repentance, though he sought it with tears.”

The KJV says: ”…when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found 𝒏𝒐 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆, 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒊𝒕 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔.” (v. 17)

Basically, when Esau wanted to repent, he couldn’t find it. He had sinned to such a depth or degree that God had given up on him.

Prayer: Lord, may our hearts never become hardened to Your correction. Keep us tender, humble, and quick to repent, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

𝐒𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 (𝐄𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧)
This is any sin that, by God’s grace, a believer genuinely confesses and turns away from. God’s mercy remains available to the one who humbly repents.

“If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life.” — 1 John 5:16

As long as there is genuine conviction, confession, and repentance, there is forgiveness through the blood of Christ. The evidence that a person has not committed the sin leading to death is that they still desire to repent and turn back to God. A heart that responds to God’s conviction is a heart upon which His grace is still at work.

Key Truth: Every sin can be forgiven when there is genuine repentance—except the final, willful, and persistent rejection of the Holy Spirit’s testimony about Christ, which leaves a person unwilling to repent.
