Summer Sirens and Beach, Please! faced off for the third game of the season! The game was filled with great battles, even better backchecking and best of all a return to crease after a 7 year hiatus - welcome back Pam! So good to have you in net, we hope you're having a blast!

🔥🔥🔥 1st Annual Jim O’Neill Memorial 3v3 Stand-up Hockey Tournament and Sled Hockey Exhibition benefiting the Houston Hellhounds Sled Hockey team.
Women's and Co-ed divisions.
Saturday, July 18, 10 am - 7 pm.

Schedule:
Women's division and Co-ed 40+ division: 10 am - 1 pm;
Co-ed Novice and Rec division: 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm.
Sled hockey exhibition games: 1:15 pm and 5:40 pm (full-ice, full-contact sled hockey games between STARskaters Hellhounds Sled Hockey and the Dallas Sled Stars).

We are pleased to announce the Hockey Day In Houston Inaugural Golf Tournamentfor Friday, November 6th, 2026.

Building on 3 year's of events through Hockey Players In Business- Houston Chapter in partnership with WHOAH - Women's Hockey Outreach Association of Houston, Houston Hockey Hall Of Fame HTX Storm Girls Hockey, Houston Junior Aeros Hockey Association , Ice Skating Complex Houston Hockey & Skate World, STARskaters Hellhounds Sled Hockey, Texas Dreadnoughts Hockey Club, Sugar Land Ice & Sports Center, UH Ice Hockey Club , Phoenix Cup Charity Classic, the Houston Amateur Hockey Association, Rice University Hockey, Blueline Slapshot, Texas Outlaws Hockey, Ice Skate Memorial City, Saint Arnold Brewing Company, Harris County - Houston Sports Authority, The Howe Foundation, and now Deep South Ice Arena and Houston Bulls, with many other community partners, this golf tournament is intended to continue to bring people together through the game of hockey and make a greater contribution to hockey in Houston!

We thank Hockey Day In Houston 2026 powered by Main Event committee members Ryan Brooks and Pete Donnelly for driving the idea of a golf tournament!

WHOAH Drop-In 06.20.26 RECAP

The previous drop-in format went so well we decided to do it again for last Saturday's skate! Our group was divided into beginners coached by Ti and Claudia and veterans battling it out in a 3v3 game (great practice for the upcoming Jim O'Neill Memorial STARskaters 3v3 tournament!!). Afterwards we all got together for a fun scrimmage!

Congrats to J.B. for being the Diva Cup recipient, you deserved it! 🏆

WHOAH Summer League Game 2 Recap

Second game of the league but lots of FIRST'S in league HERstory! ☝🏻

Teams Beach Please! and Sharknadoes faced off and finished with the league's first tied game (1-1) even after the league's FIRST 3 woman shootout!

Beach Please! had FIRST time goalie Sammy Hayes in net and based on the score she might have found her new calling! She only allowed one goal and fended off all 3 Sharknadoes during the shoot-out! Great job Sammy!!

One major improvement we are seeing is proper lineup at face-offs, great job ladies! 👏🏾

3rd annual Houston Women's Hockey clinic with Amanda Pelkey was a blast!!!
Yoga, hockey, social hour - we loved every minute of that evening!

WHOAH Drop-In 06.13.26 RECAP

We had EIGHT new skaters PLUS a new GOALIE attend our most recent drop in!! To say we're growing is quite the understatement and we absolutely LOVE to see it!

To make the most efficient use of our time the first 30 minutes of our time was used as a clinic for the rookie skaters and new goalie under the tutelage of Coach Claudia and Coach Ti while the veterans had a thrilling 3v3 game. Afterwards we all got together to scrimmage making sure our rookies got to practice their new skills!

Our next drop-in is Saturday June 20th at Sugar Land 1:15PM. Come out and see the fabulous progress we are making!
