Cardio alone isn’t enough. I see so many people chasing sweat. Trust me, I spent many years running long miles. Don’t get me wrong, cardiovascular exercise is powerful. It is amazing for your mental health and essential for heart health.

When it comes to changing your body, cardio alone is only part of the equation. If you are not strength training, you are missing the most important piece.

Lifting weights builds muscle, boosts metabolism, supports your hormones and keeps you strong as you age.

So Yes….keep up the cardio….but let’s add strength training.

Stretching is one of the most overlooked parts of a workout. It plays a huge role in mobility, injury prevention, and helping your body recover so you can keep moving and training well.

Here is a simple stretch I often use with clients to improve flexibility and overall movement. Add this in after your workout or at the end of the day to help your body reset.
