A big congratulations to Kühle Team member Brian Scott on this beauty of a buck taken with a longbow. 🏹🦌

"Since picking up a longbow, I’ve shot thousands of arrows and tried more tuning approaches than I can count. Different point weights, different spine reactions, different setups, different ways of trying to get that perfect flight.
Traditional archery has a way of showing you very quickly when something isn’t right. Throughout all of that experimenting, the Kühle Ratel remained the only constant.
I shoot a full-length 32” 400-spine Ratel. It’s built from 24T carbon in a small-diameter shaft, with a straightness tolerance of +/- .003” and a weight tolerance of +/- 2 grains. That small-diameter 24T construction is designed to give the shaft a strong, stiff profile while still promoting good pe*******on. For my setup, that combination has worked extremely well. Out of my longbow, these carbon arrows have flown flawlessly.
That mattered when this buck stepped out at 7 yards. There was no second-guessing the arrow, no wondering if the tune was right, and no hesitation about whether the setup would do its job.
I picked the spot, went through the shot, and watched that Ratel go exactly where I was looking. About 80 yards later, I had my hands on my first stickbow buck.
What makes it even more meaningful is who stands behind the arrow. Bo Davenport isn’t just the owner of Kuhle Archery. He’s a very close friend and a brother in Christ. Kuhle is a Christ-centered company built around faith, craftsmanship, and doing things the right way. That matters to me just as much as the performance.
Thousands of arrows, countless tuning changes, and a lot of learning led to one shot that really mattered, and the ol’ honey badger was ready for it.
Full-length 400 spine with 350gr up front, 3 fletched with 4” parabolic feathers and 3 7/8” wrap with a lighted nock. 670gr total arrows weight. Flawless flight."
