We could make these cheaper.
There’s an easy version of this pant. Thinner duck cotton. Synthetic blends that photograph well and fall apart quietly. Poor quality cut-and-sew, a lower price, and a garment engineered to be replaced in a season or two.
That’s the road most of our competitors take. It’s the typical route — because if you only plan to keep a customer for a season or two, the only way to succeed is to milk them for every profit dollar you can on every transaction.
That’s exactly why we’ve never been interested in that way of doing business.
We exist to forge customer relationships that last a lifetime. We want to earn your trust. Honor your trust. And make products that ask for no sacrifices.
Case in point: our field pants.
Years in the field. Brush, mud, rain, and every hard mile 10 seasons can throw at a pair of pants — and they’re still going strong.
The canvas has gone soft and honest. The knees carry the shape of the man who wore them. The frayed cuffs aren’t damage. They’re a signature.
You don’t get this from cheap material. You get it from the good stuff, built right the first time, and then earned over a lifetime. These pants become a living journal of every hunt, every haul, every early morning worth getting up for.
Buy well once. Wear it for a decade.
Hand them down with the stories still in the fabric.
