Push Up Challenge week 2

✅. This week we are concentrating on control of the push . We work the down slow and the up even slower .

✅ Pick your push position either on the knees , in Plank , or inclined with upper body higher than the lower body .

✅ Minimum of 10 push ups daily . Maximum…….The sky is the limit

✅. Pilates push-ups Unlike gym push-ups, focus on slow and controlled movements that strengthen the upper body (chest, shoulders, triceps) and deep core muscles.

✅ Pilates Push ups improve spinal mobility, posture, strength and coordination.

✅ Week one total 195 push ups

✅ My Goal for the week was 70 push ups or 10 push ups per day

✅. Setting Goals is key to getting things done.

✅ I’ll never fear setting a goal and falling short …….. 9 times out of 10 I still achieve more than if I never set the goal in the first place .

✅ Push-ups can be done anywhere with no equipment. They are a highly efficient compound exercise that builds strength in the pectoralis major and minor muscles ( chest ) the anterior deltoids (shoulders,) triceps ( back of the arms ) and core muscles. They improve upper-body strength and muscular endurance, enhance posture, support bone health, and increase functional strength for daily activities.

✅ adding pushups to your daily or weekly workout routine can boost bone density and cardiovascular health .

✅ stick with a push up variation you can do with good form. I’m starting with an incline push up where my upper body is higher than my lower body !
