Real talk: I spent years putting myself last on my own list. 💛
Today’s reminder (for me and for you) — taking care of yourself isn’t selfish, it’s necessary. You can’t keep pouring from an empty cup.
So here’s 20 minutes I gave myself today. No excuses, no waiting for the ‘perfect time.’

The diet soda trap 🥤 ‘Zero sugar’ doesn’t always mean zero impact on your blood sugar. Save this for the friend who swears diet soda is her safe drink.

Diabetes is more than food choices and glucose numbers.
It can be the constant planning, calculating, remembering, worrying, adjusting, and trying to do your best while life is still happening around you.
If you are tired of managing diabetes, please hear this: you are not lazy, undisciplined, or failing. You are carrying a real mental load.
You deserve care that gives you practical support—not more shame.
Send this to someone who needs to hear it today. 🤍
Salmon bowls are one of my favorite meals! Salmon is sooo good for you. I aim to have a fatty fish once a week. Why?
It has essential oils to help combat Inflammation and the omega 3 fatty acids it contains helps lower our already higher risk of heart disease.
Salmon is low carb so it will have zero effect on your blood sugar and will keep you feeling satiated.
I pile on my favorite veggies and make a spicy mayo and soy sauce to go on top..
Tofu adds more protein here and I cook with the same sauce I put on my fish.
I’ll put my recipe in the comments below
