At Sentry Lacrosse, wall ball isn’t optional. It’s part of our culture.

Some players are naturally gifted. Others have to fight for every rep. At Sentry, it doesn’t matter where you start. The standard is the same.

Have a chip on your shoulder. OUTWORK your competition.

You don’t need to master the entire Wall Ball Test at once.

Pick ONE skill.
Go for ONE minute.
Count successful reps.
Beat your score.
Rinse and repeat.

It may be repetitive. It may get boring. That’s the process.

Confidence is earned.
Skill is earned.
Success is earned.

Get on the wall with a purpose.

The work nobody sees eventually becomes the results everybody sees.

At Sentry Lacrosse, wall ball is not optional. It’s part of our culture.

Parents ask all the time, “How can my son get better?” Players ask the same question. The answer is actually pretty simple.

Consistently get on the wall with a purpose.

Pick one skill and work on it for one minute. Count your successful reps. The next time, try to beat your score while maintaining great technique. Once you’ve mastered that skill, move on to the next one. Eventually, put all of the skills together and repeat the process over and over.

There is no secret formula. There is no shortcut.

It comes down to outworking everyone around you. It comes down to having the mindset that you want to become a better player and a better teammate every single day.

When all of those small details come together, they create something special. Like a beautiful painting, people only admire the finished product. What they don’t always see are the thousands of repetitions, the discipline, and the commitment that went into creating it.

Enjoy the process. Fall in love with the work. Stay consistent, and let your hard work speak for itself.
