Most people stripe it on the range… then fall apart on the course.

That’s normal.

The range gives you perfect lies and no pressure. The course forces you to think, pick targets, deal with bad lies, and actually play.

If you’re not practicing on the course, you’re not really getting better.

This is the towel drill.

Place a towel under both arms and make swings without letting it fall.

The goal isn’t to “hold it tight” — it’s to keep your arms and body moving together.

Most golfers swing with their hands and arms first, which causes inconsistent contact, slices, and no real control.

This drill trains proper sequencing so your body leads and your arms follow.

If you struggle with consistency, start here.

Do a few slow reps before you hit and focus on staying connected through the swing.

Most people set their feet first… and that’s why their alignment is off before they even swing.

Club face comes first. Always.

Set the face to your target, then build everything else around it—feet, shoulders, body. Do it the other way and you’re just guessing at impact.

Most golfers get too legsy and that’s where everything starts to fall apart. This drill forces you to stay more stable and actually use your body instead of relying on your legs. It feels exaggerated but that’s the point, it cleans up your swing fast.
