Join us in Vermont Village, Oak Cliff!

Thanks to the support of The Dallas Foundation and their 2025 Summer Grant Cycle, Better Block is bringing temporary amenities to West Trinity Heights Park, a 1.5-acre neighborhood park in Oak Cliff’s Vermont Village.

To celebrate, we’re inviting the community to bring a picnic and join us on Saturday, May 2 from 11 AM – 1 PM to enjoy the space together. Expect new seating, added shade, family-friendly games, live music, popsicles, and drinks from Recipe Oak Cliff!

Want to help build and paint these new elements? Sign up for our volunteer day on Thursday, April 30 from 9 AM – 12 PM or 3 PM – 6 PM at the Better Block office (1723 S Ewing Ave, Dallas, TX 75216).
