February = 190+ lbs ➡️ Today = 147 lbs 🩷

Today I weighed in at 147 lbs 🥹 Over 43 lbs down!

It hasn’t been easy. I’ve had to say no to things I wanted, watch what I eat, meal prep, get my workouts in even when I’m tired, and most importantly — stay consistent.

I’m proud of myself because I know how hard I’ve worked for this. I showed up for myself because nobody can do it for me.

I feel better, I’m stronger, and I’m happier with my progress… but I’m still not done. 💪🏼🩷🐆

If you really want it, you have to show up for yourself.

Losing 35+ pounds in 4 months wasn’t luck—it was a choice I made every single day.

Even on vacation, I stayed committed. I watched what I ate, and if I decided to indulge, I made sure I earned it by working out even harder.

I searched for gyms—even if they were an hour away. When I was in Mexico, I packed my own weights and mat and woke up at 5–6 a.m. to work out while everyone else was sleeping. And if someone woke up and started talking to me? I’d keep the conversation going while I finished my workout.

Was it hard limiting my taco intake while I was in Mexico? Absolutely. Saying no to snacks and beer on vacation wasn’t easy either.

Meal prepping became part of my lifestyle—not because I had to, but because it kept me accountable. Planning my meals meant I was less likely to make excuses or grab whatever was convenient. Success doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built one meal, one workout, and one good decision at a time.

I kept showing up for myself because no one else could do the work for me.

The best part hasn’t been the number on the scale—it’s watching my children see me work out, do push-ups beside me, and tell me they want to be trainers when they grow up. That means more to me than any number ever could.

And here’s the truth… I’m not done.

This wasn’t a 4-month challenge—it was the beginning of a lifelong commitment. I’m still learning. I’m still growing. I’m still pushing myself to become stronger, healthier, and better than I was yesterday. Yes I’m a trainer, but I don’t stop learning.

Because the goal was never just to lose weight.
The goal was to build a life I don’t have to escape from—and a version of myself I’m proud of.

This is only the beginning. 🖤💪

Just a small glimpse of today 🩷

BANDA-lates was everything we dreamed of and more. From the live banda, amazing vendors, flash tattoos, laughs, sweat, and strong energy in the room… thank YOU for showing up and making this event unforgettable.

Seeing so many beautiful faces come together to move, support small businesses, and have fun reminded me why I started this journey. 🫶🏼

Thank you to every single person who bought a ticket, shared a post, brought a friend, vended, performed, or supported Jaguar Fitness in any way. This was more than a workout — it was a whole experience.

Mes de la Concientización sobre la Salud Mental 🖤

Este mes es algo muy personal para mí.

Tengo ansiedad.
He sufrido de depresión postparto.
Y si me descuido o me dejo caer, puedo volver a entrar en depresión fácilmente.

Por eso trato de mantenerme activa, hacer ejercicio regularmente y seguir luchando por mí misma, incluso en los días difíciles. El ejercicio no ha solucionado todo, pero sí me ha ayudado a sanar, a sobrellevar mis emociones y a sentirme fuerte nuevamente poco a poco.

También trato de ayudar a otras personas que pueden sentirse como yo me sentí alguna vez: abrumadas, cansadas, ansiosas, perdidas o solas. A veces, todo lo que alguien necesita es apoyo, ánimo o un recordatorio de que sí importa.

Las mujeres debemos apoyarnos entre mujeres. 🖤
Pero la salud mental no solo afecta a las mujeres — los hombres también sufren, muchas veces en silencio.

Sean amables. Revisen cómo están sus seres queridos. Hablen. Pidan ayuda.
Sanar no es un proceso lineal, y nunca sabemos lo que alguien está cargando por dentro.

No eres débil por estar luchando.
Y no estás solo(a). ✨

I cannot even begin to share and describe my gratitude and excitement for Saturday’s event. Even more - I’m excited to share this event with these wonderful vendors.

- the gym that has become a second home to me. They’ve shown me love and support like no other.

- the band who is making BANDA-lates possible

- I’ve known him since our Univision Radio days where we would make Banda MS promo videos 🤣. I’m excited for him to share his new journey.

- with a wide variety of items that she offers, im excited to try her elotes on Saturday - my cheat snack of the week. (Does it count if elote is a vegetable?)

- where to begin with you? I’ve known her for 24 years, and 2 tattoos later. I’m excited for a couple more this Saturday

- my lender from another mother. Or how does that saying go? She is not only a great friend. But AMAZINGGGG at what she does, and if you are looking into buying a home - she definitely gots you

- I am thrilled to share your talent! She has already crocheted over 5+ items for me and my kids, and still counting.

Mental Health Awareness Month 🖤

This month is personal for me.

I have anxiety.
I’ve suffered from postpartum depression.
And if I let myself stay stuck too long, I can easily fall back into depression.

That’s one of the reasons I choose to move my body, workout regularly, and keep showing up for myself — even on the hard days. Fitness hasn’t “fixed” everything, but it’s helped me heal, cope, and feel strong again little by little.

I also try to help others who may be feeling the same way I once did — overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, lost, or alone. Sometimes all someone needs is support, encouragement, or a reminder that they matter.

Women should empower women. 🖤
But mental health doesn’t only affect women — men suffer too, often silently.

Be kind. Check on your people. Speak up. Ask for help.
Healing isn’t linear, and you never know what someone is carrying behind the scenes.

You are not weak for struggling.
And you are not alone. ✨
