🏞️Devils River Petroglyphs 🌀
These petroglyphs, which are dated to around 4,000 years old, were created by an unknown and long-departed people who depicted a series of magnificent paintings in these shelters in which they lived. Now lived in by Aoudad, guarded by crows and snakes, stepping into these shelters is literally a window into a time long ago 🦬

🐏A Sheep’s Tale🎣
I’ve cast at more than a few Sheepshead in my life and I’m normally meet with a follow then a refusal. Not on this day! We had been seeing pods of active Sheepies all day when another appeared in front of us but this pod was different! They were BIG and closing in quick! I made a cast to an outside fish and it lunged at the fly! I thought it ate so I strip set only to have the fly find no purchase. I laid in another cast. This Sheepshead tipped up vertically and sipped the fly like a trout would🤯 Everyone in the boat let out a sigh of amazement, the line came tight and the fight was on! We landed it quickly, got a measurement (20 1/4”) and sent it on it’s Sheepy way✌🏽 This will Probably be the only Sheepshead I ever catch and I’m perfectly fine with that🤭
