Week 4 Let’s Go 👏👏 Get ready for a PACKED Saturday at Cougar Field! From the first whistle at 9:00 AM all the way through our Varsity Midget game at 8:00 PM, there’s a full day of Dallastown Cougar Football action! 🔥

Then we wrap up the weekend with a Sunday matchup at 11:30 AM at Northeastern HS.

📣 COUGAR TACKLE FOOTBALL SPORTSMANSHIP SPOTLIGHT 🏈✨
This week’s Sportsmanship Spotlight goes to #22 Logan Hostler from the JV Midget Blue team! 💙🤍

A few weeks ago, Logan suffered a knee injury at practice that will keep him off the field for at least four weeks. But being unable to play hasn’t stopped him from being a teammate.

Even on crutches, Logan continues to show up to every practice and every game. He’s on the sidelines encouraging his teammates, helping them through drills, offering advice on plays, and staying involved however he can.

It would be easy to stay home and wait until he’s cleared to play again. Instead, Logan has continued to show up for his team even when his team can’t currently benefit from what he does on the field.

That’s what being a great teammate is all about. Sportsmanship isn’t always something that happens between the whistles. Sometimes it’s supporting the guys next to you, staying positive when things don’t go your way, and putting your team ahead of yourself.

👏 Great job, Logan! Keep being there for your teammates, keep leading from the sideline, and we can’t wait to see #22 back on the field when the time comes!

💙🤍 Play hard. Respect the game. Lead by example.

Tonight our mentor/mentee pairs will be walking around Cougar Field and approaching different coaches and team parents to ask a few questions and get to know you better, things like why you coach or volunteer, if you have a child in the program, your favorite NFL team, and maybe a fun fact about you.

Mentor / Mentee not present? Group up with another pair!

The goal is to get our players interacting with people outside of just their own team and continue building that one Cougar Football family atmosphere.
