Registration for our September match opens on Sunday at 7:00pm.

This year's matches are sponsored by SAFE Fi****ms Training, LLC. Please support them for supporting us!

Here are the match details:
- Match date: Sunday September 20th
- 8 stages (including one classifier), plus chrono ~220
- All USPSA divisions recognized
- The match fee is $25 for adults and free for juniors and those who attend setup on the 18th.
-Check-in on match day will be at the in the back pits and will open at 7:45 AM and close at 8:30 AM. Please don't be late...you might become a spectator!
-The match briefing will start around 9:00 AM in the back pits near the big shed. Shooting will start after the briefing and should end by 2:00 PM.
-Setup will be on Friday September 18th, starting at 9AM

As a thank you for their dedication to USPSA, we are offering early registration to all USPSA and SCSA level 1 Match Directors, and Section Coordinators. Please contact us via PM, email, text, carrier pigeon, smoke signals, etc. to receive an early registration code.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Check-in on match day starts at 7:45AM and ends at 8:30AM. Please note this time and plan your trip to the range accordingly. Late arrivers delay the match for everyone and risk being turned away and/or waitlisted in the future.
2. We now have power and wifi in the back pits area, so we will do check-in back there this month.
3. You must be approved in Practiscore in order to shoot the match. WE DO NOT ACCEPT WALK-ONS on the day of the match. Please do not show up on Sunday if you have not received an approval email.
4. Everyone who registers on Sunday will be waitlisted initially, so don't panic. We handle registration this way to avoid a Practiscore glitch.
5. If you sign up for a category, please be prepared at check-in to provide appropriate documentation for your category. See Appendix A2 of the USPSA rules.

Our August match sponsored by SAFE Fi****ms Training was a wet one, but 84 shooters showed up and made it a fun day. We couldn’t have made it happen without 24 volunteers on Saturday. The Emperor was in Ohio with rain as well. Thanks to Queen Bea for always being there for us.

Announcements included a new club at Guntry in Owings Mills, MD, with matches starting soon.

Our July match included a surprise chrono stage, so I didn't get a chance to walk around a take pictures. Instead, we took squad pictures once the squads got to their first stage...just as we announced we were collecting 8 rounds for chrono. Some people might have been like😱😱😱!

Nobody knew about chrono besides me and Ed. We even had the setup crew build a sham stage in the chrono bay.

I think a few people weren't prepared for a chrono stage at a level 1 match. As NROI.org has been saying frequently recently, almost every rule in the rule book applies at every USPSA match. There are a few level 1 exemptions, but only a few, and the rest of the rules apply at all matches.

I predict that next month fewer people will fail chrono at YPS!😁🤐

Since our former friends at WSPS cancelled tomorrow's match we added a few rounds to our match....now 8 stages, 261 rounds!

We had a tremendous turnout for today's setup. 25 volunteers came out to help us put 9 stages on the ground for Sunday's match. Fortunately, Neil Bera didn't show up, so we had great weather all day long. 😁☀️☀️☀️ Thanks Neil for staying away!

In addition to the 25 volunteers we had today, we also had a crew put the stage props in the bays on Thursday, PLUS, our good friend Jim Gable showed up on Thursday (in the rain!) to put stage 2 on the ground by himself (Jim was also with us today!).

Often times Match Directors are sort of the face of the match, but in most cases, especially in our case, matches are a team effort. Great effort by our team today...they're all listed below.

Finally, Doug Ports, a man either dead or barely alive for a few minutes at our April setup....returned today. I can't tell you how awesome it was to see Doug back on the range today...trying to earn the hours he lost in April!😁

- Match date: Sunday June 21st (Father's Day)
- 9 stages (including 1 classifier) ~241 rounds
- All USPSA divisions recognized
- The match fee is $25 for adults and free for juniors and those who attend setup on the 19th. Father/child groups will also shoot for free.
- Check-in on match day will be at the rifle pavilion and will open at 7:45 AM and close at 8:30 AM. PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME.
- The match briefing will start around 9:00 AM in the back pits near the big shed. Shooting will start after the briefing and should end by 3:00 PM.
- Setup will be Friday June 19th starting at 8:00 AM (an hour earlier than our normal start because of a Girl Scout event at the club).
