Danbury Rugby Football Club

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our 7’s tournament scheduled for June 27th.

Unfortunately, registration numbers were not where they needed to be to make the tournament viable and provide the kind of experience we want for the teams, players, supporters, and volunteers involved.

We know this is disappointing, and we truly appreciate everyone who showed interest, registered, volunteered, or planned to be part of the day.

This tournament means a lot to our club, and while this year did not come together the way we hoped, we are going to regroup, rebuild, and look forward to trying again next year.

Danbury 7s is back and both the men and women are heading up to Hartford today for a rugby filled day! Each team is guaranteed 3 matches before playoffs. It’s always a great day for rugby 🔥

Tri-State 7s registration is still live for 2 more weeks. Secure your spot and compete to bring some hardware back to your club. Devisions include:

- EGU Championship Series Men’s & Women’s
- Social Men’s & Women’s
- High School Boys & Girls

The Pitch Doctors will be providing medical services, as well as an athletic suite with ice baths, snacks, and hydration!

Twins BBQ Co will have a Food Truck until early afternoon and a Beer Truck all day!

The countdown is on for our 12th Annual Tri-State 7s Tournament and spots are going FAST. If your team is planning to play, now’s the time to register before the 6/20 deadline. June 27 at Kenosia Park is set to be an unreal day of rugby, competition, and summer 7s energy. Registration link is in our bio and on our website!!

We’re also thrilled to announce Pitch Doctors as the official welfare partner of this year’s tournament. Ice baths, saunas, Normatec compression, cupping, stretching, recovery stations, and more will be available all day to keep players fresh and ready to compete.
