So, we've got a new leader on the board in the WTF were you thinking with this repair contest?
This takes the trophy for the most dangerous thing I've ever found on a car that's come through the shop. It seems that to fit a mid 80's Aston Martin brake servo into a 1960 Maserati 3500GT single circuit brake system, you have to butt weld two different size brake lines together. This has to be the most critical weld I've ever seen in my life. If that weld had broken, the car would have absolutely no brakes besides the parking brake.

Mark's absolutely gorgeous 76 Triumph TR6 all serviced and tuned, ready for the spring driving season. What's "cool" about this car is that in the 40+ years that I've been working on these cars, this is the first TR6 that I've seen with air-conditioning.

Every once in a while I get to have some fun.

Here's a TR6 we built for a customer 12 years ago putting down 170Hp at the rear wheels on pump gas. Big brake kit, koni adjustable shocks all around, Urathane suspension bushings front and rear, Adjustable rear suspension, Front and rear adjustable swaybars, Custom fabricated in house stainless exhaust system. The car was brought to us with 65Hp at the rear wheels on that same Dyno. I was challenged to double the horsepower. I probably could have tripled it with bigger carb chokes but that would have sacrificed around town drivability. This car really turned into a Jekyll and Hyde. It's a pussycat around town and an absolute monster on the back roads.

Rand's stunning Austin Healey BJ8 all straightened out and ready for a safe driving season after we found some incredibly dangerous issues another shop had missed on their recent restoration of this beauty. Attention to detail is an absolute must in this business. People's lives depend on it.

We've been absolutely swamped with work for quite a while and haven't had time to post up some of the really cool cars that we've been working on. I'll try to catch up a bit over the next few weeks.
Let's start with Matt's new to him Triumph GT6
Matt bought this really solid GT6 from the original owner in Ohio and trailered it straight to Stonebridge. As you can see from the pictures, the last registration was 1980. The car went through a cosmetic restoration in 1995 but never saw the road after that. After extensive mechanical rebuild of most every system, Matt drove this great little car home this spring.
