🏏 End of the Road, But Not the End of the Journey 🏏

The SCTCA T20 2026 campaign comes to an end for Danbury Cricket Club after a hard-fought season. Today, we fell short against New Haven CC, who chased down our total of 139/9 with 5 wickets in hand.

A special mention to Rifath (47 off 28) for leading the batting effort, supported by Samitha (20) and Bilash (18). With the ball, Tashi fought hard with 3 wickets, while the rest of the bowling unit gave everything they had until the very end.

Cricket is a game of ups and downs. We celebrated victories together, learned from defeats together, and most importantly, played as one family throughout this tournament. Results may not always go our way, but the commitment, friendship, and passion shown by every player, supporter, and volunteer is what truly defines Danbury Cricket Club.

On behalf of the management, I would like to sincerely thank every player who represented our club this season, every family member who supported us, and every fan who stood behind us through every match. Your support means everything.

Today marks the end of an important chapter for one of our own. As Dr. Bilash begins a new journey in life, his time with Danbury Cricket Club comes to a close.

Bilash has been more than just a player he has been a teammate, a friend, and a brother to many of us. His commitment on and off the field, his positive attitude, and his willingness to always put the team first have left a lasting impact on this club.

There is no doubt that every member of Danbury Cricket Club will miss him. While we are sad to see him go, we are equally proud and excited for the opportunities that lie ahead for him.

Representing Danbury Cricket Club is more than just playing cricket it is about commitment, teamwork, respect, and wearing the club badge with pride. Today, Himanshu officially became part of the DCC family, and we are excited to see him begin his journey with us.

A tough day at the office for Danbury Cricket club,but one that will make us stronger as a team.

After being put into the field, DCC bowlers showed great fight and discipline to restrict Bridgeport CC to 140/6 in 20 overs. The standout performer was Nabil Khan, who delivered an excellent spell of 3 wickets for 19 runs, while Tashi Tamang supported brilliantly with 2 wickets, and Richi chipped in with an important breakthrough.

Chasing 141 for victory, DCC struggled to build partnerships against a disciplined Bridgeport bowling attack. Bilash P battled hard for his 27 runs, while Tashi Tamang added a quick 16 runs and Muhammad Fayyaz contributed 7 runs. Despite the effort, DCC was bowled out for 67 runs.

Despite a spirited fight, Danbury Cricket club fell short by 13 runs against a strong Connecticut Cricket Academy side in the SCTCA 2026 T20 Tournament.

After being asked to field first, Danbury cricket club bowlers worked hard to restrict CCA CC to 145/8 in 20 overs. Leading from the front was Nomi Shaikh, who produced a brilliant spell of 3 wickets for 28 runs, while Sathursha J provided excellent support with 2 wickets for 24 runs. Aditya V also chipped in with a crucial wicket.

Chasing 146 for victory, Danbury cricket club showed great determination throughout the innings. Mohammad Adeel anchored the chase with a superb 58 runs off 46 balls, while Arun Mohan contributed a valuable 25 runs. Despite the fighting effort, Danbury cricket clu. finished on 132/5, falling just short of the target.

A clinical all-round performance from Danbury Cricket Club secured a convincing 9-wicket victory over New Haven Eagles CC in the SCTCA 2026 T20 Tournament.

After winning the toss, DCC bowlers kept the opposition under constant pressure, restricting New Haven Eagles to just 84/6 in 16 overs. Leading the bowling attack was Rifath R, who picked up 2 wickets for 18 runs, while Nabil K (1/10) and Bilash P (1/15) provided excellent support with disciplined spells.

In reply, DCC chased down the target with ease, reaching 85/1 in just 7 overs, showcasing aggressive and confident batting. Rifath R starred with the bat as well, smashing an unbeaten 41 off 16 balls, while Samitha R played a superb supporting role with 25 off 18 balls. .
