Sometimes we get caught up with our own life and forget that other people are equally having a hard time. Be kind to yourself and don't take your frustration onto others. ❤

I knew the idea of compounding, but never put it side-by-side with spending.
Hope this helps you realize that spending money is not as important as investing it. We feel good when we spend but it's like putting your money you worked so hard in to the trash.

This is not just for children but to those who you are teaching/training at the clinic. My job as a instructor is to teach vet techs to be independent and be responsible for their patients. The sooner they learn that the faster their journey is to becoming a great vet tech 👏

I used to habit of blaming others for my problems. As soon as I realized that it's ME not them, and started working on my selfcare things started to change.
Burnouts, angry clients and co-workers, bad spending and eating habits - all stem from not having self-confidence and selfcare.
If we took the time to love ourselves like we love others, ❤ your life will look very different.

It's so easy to be judgmental about things in vet med - it's actually where we get ourselves in trouble when it comes to stress management.

I know talking about money is hard and we all want to avoid it.
But, if you don't take care of your money, it will never grow.

Just like our sick patients, they need TLC. If you have poor financial skills, you and your family actually suffers. So don't run away from it, learn to be kind and love money.

We are always evolving- like it or not.🤔 Life changes around us and nothing is always the same.

If your work place tells you they appropriate you but doesn't help you grow, re-evaluate why you are there. It's quite possible, they don't want to pay you more for your advancement. It's possible they are overwhelmed with their own job that they don't see what you need. Don't be passive, ask for your advancement and ask what you can do to grow.
