Don't rush through you workout. It's more important to do things correctly, rather than quickly.

The single most important factor influencing a person's success -- whether personal or professional -- is mindset. THINK POSITIVE!!

It is not how long you workout but what you get done in the time you are working out. I see too many people waste time between sets, etc. Old school training use to entail doing a set then resting for 2 to 3 minutes. Now one rarely completely rests between sets (this of course depends a lot on your goals and style of training). For most general population training with a goal of increasing strength and mobility, improving endurance, and decreasing bodyfat I recommend the following.
1a. A pushing movement for 10 reps.
1b. A pulling movement ofr 10 reps.
1c. A lower body movement for 10 reps.
1d. A core movement for 10 reps.
1e. 60 seconds of intense conditioning work (jump ropes, sprints, jacks, conditioning ropes, stepmill, elliptical, etc).
1f. A mobility movement that addresses a specific need (tight thoracic spine, etc) for 5 deep breathing cycles.
Repeat 3 more times.
