Due to sudden loss of my husband & BEST FRIEND, Quick Draw is permanently closed. There are still instructors , just no longer at Quick Draw.

On March 27th and 28th will be a Spring Special on Conceal Carry Class. $100.00 per person. Bring friends and family . Wanting a class size of 20 or more. Must have valis FOID Card or applying for one. Must be paid in full 7 days before 1st day of class. Bring 50 rds of ammo each day, a sack lunch, dress accordingly for shooting . If you've never shot before, would like to work with you before class . That cost $35.00 hour . Wife can down load all this to the state for $50.00 incl. picture. If you try it at home and mess it up, it'll be $75.00 to correct & submit to State .

DESOTO COUNTY, Miss. — DeSoto County is now a Second Amendment “safe haven,” the first Mississippi county to make such a declaration.

Supervisors voted unanimously in favor of a resolution Tuesday, after the language was amended to change “sanctuary” to “safe haven.”

Mississippi Rep. Dana Criswell, who presented a petition to the Desoto County Board of Supervisors asking for a vote on the resolution, said safe haven essentially means the same as sanctuary.

Criswell said several constituents came to him expressing concern after some counties in Virginia approved Second Amendment sanctuary resolutions in response to gun control measures in that state that some gun-rights advocates feel are unconstitutional.

He said Mississippi’s legislature is not considering similar gun-control measures, but that residents wanted to get ahead of the issue.

“We just want to draw a line in the sand and say we’re never going to enforce something like this,” Criswell said.

Criswell also said that we may soon see a similar effort in Alcorn County, and some efforts are underway in cities. He said he has put forth legislation that would apply statewide. we need to call our state REP . for we can make us a safe. and there other county that have do this so far in other states .
