I planned on an outdoor run this morning but it was a little too frosty for me so I opted for a couple of indoor workouts. They were both awesome! Trying to make the best of Tier 3 Covid mitigation strategies with home workouts. Let me know what you’re doing to stay healthy! I forgot to mention. They both have burpees!! 💪🏼 💪🏼

Tomorrow morning at 5:30 am it should be in the mid 30s. If you want to do some power walking to warm up and 35 -45 minutes of total body strength and core, please join me on the Y parking lot at 5:30 am for an outdoor workout. Feel free to bring your own weights and mat. The small gym closet will be open if you want to use Y equipment. See you tomorrow!

Now that Illinois has moved to Teir 3 Covid mitigation strategies there will no more indoor fitness classes at the Y until further notice. When weather allows we will meet outside to walk, jog and work our safely while practicing social distancing. Please follow this page for more details.

We are back at it at 5:30 am. Tomorrow is a total mash up: 15 minute cardio step, 30 minute leg workout, 10 minute upper body. Let’s do it!

Cardio Core Muscle Mash Up resumes Monday, June 29 at 5:30 am. I am working out the details of doing the class outside when weather permits. Feel free to bring your own weights and mat if you are more comfortable with that, and of course we will practice proper social distancing. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again.
