ALYB Fall League Player Registration has ended, but we do have a small number of spots available in the 8U and 12U Divisions.

American Legion Youth Baseball would like to congratulate 15U Covington - 2026 Summer League Tournament Runner-Up. Covington is coached by Scott Holycross.

Covington cruised through the regular season with a record of 12-0 and secured the #1 seed heading into the tournament. Covington battled #2 seed Possum Trot to the very end, just falling short by a score of 5-3.

American Legion Youth Baseball would like to congratulate 15U Possum Trot - 2026 Summer League Tournament Champion. Possum Trot is coached by Jamison Kuemmerle.

Possum Trot entered the tournament as the #2 seed with a record of 10-2. Facing the undefeated #1 seed Covington with a regular season record of 12-0, Possum Trot held on for the win with a score of 5-3.

Any player that registers for the 2026 Fall League and that does not have a player evaluation on file from a previous ALYB coach or board member is required to attend player evaluations on Saturday, August 1st. This would include any player that has not played at our facility before or that does not have a recent player evaluation on file. Times for each age division will be announced as we get closer to the end of registration. Families will be notified via email if their player is required to attend. All players must have an evaluation on file prior to be being eligible to be placed on a roster.

American Legion Youth Baseball utilizes player evaluations to create balanced teams within each age division. Player evaluations provide the opportunity for players to demonstrate the basic skills of baseball (i.e., fielding fly and ground balls, throwing and pitching) in the presence of other players in the same age group/division in which he/she will most likely play. The player evaluations shall be conducted in the presence of at least one ALYB Board Member. The information gathered from the player evaluations are utilized in conjunction with those player evaluations already on file to create balanced team rosters within each age division.

This is what it is all about. Two teams that battled throughout the season and faced each other in the championship game, coming together for a final photo that puts a wrap on the season.
