🚨 Umpires Needed for Fall Ball! 🚨
Winterview Youth League is looking for additional patched umpires for our Fall Ball season.

📅 Sundays, August 9 through the end of September
⏰ Game times begin around 11:30 a.m., with the final games starting at 5:30 p.m.

If you are a patched umpire (or know someone who is) we'd love to hear from you! Please send us a message or contact our Umpire Representative, Mike VanLeer, at [email protected].

We are also accepting names of anyone 15 years or older who is interested in umpiring. Preference will be given to patched umpires, but we are happy to build a list of future officials.

🥎🍂 Fall Ball Registration is Open! 🍂🥎

Interested in putting together a Fall Ball team? We use a bring-your-own-team format! Winterview does not create teams, but we do keep a waitlist of players looking for a team if coaches need to fill out their rosters.

Here's what you need to know:
• Teams are responsible for providing their own uniforms and/or securing sponsors to cover uniform costs.
• Winterview collects $70 per player for league fees. If players are paying for uniforms, you'll collect the $70 league fee plus the uniform cost.
• Coaches must be approved and pass a background check before their team will be accepted into the league.
• Each team must submit a completed registration form (including the signed acknowledgment of the rules) and a signed waiver for every player.
• Fall Ball rules are the same as the summer season, with the exception of the game time limit.
• There is no substitute player system during Fall Ball, so we recommend rostering at least 12 players to ensure you have enough players each week.
📅 Registration deadline is July 30th or until each league reaches capacity, whichever comes first.

We never imagined we'd have to make a post like this. Unfortunately, someone who is lower than low made the decision to steal from our kids.

Overnight, one of our batting machines was stolen from the Winterview cages. A police report is being filed, and security footage is currently being reviewed. We will also be increasing security measures moving forward.

In the meantime, our athletes will have access to only one batting cage with the remaining machine. The second cage can still be used for live pitching while we work to replace what was taken as quickly as possible. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this causes our players, coaches, and families.

Winterview Youth League is 100% volunteer-run and fueled by the incredible community that supports our athletes. Every dollar, every donation, and every hour volunteered is for these kids, which makes this especially heartbreaking.
We need your help. If you see someone trying to sell a batting machine, suddenly offering hitting lessons with a "new" machine, or you notice someone with a machine they didn't have before today, please let us or local law enforcement know. Even if you're unsure whether it's related, we'd rather receive the information and follow up than miss an important lead.
