The Danville Boat Club is a non-profit social club located on the west bank of Lake Vermilion in Danville, Illinois. The Club was first known as the Walnut Hill Boat Club in the 1920’s. After the Depression in the 1930’s, another group incorporated as the Danville Boat Club in 1937. The club features 1-2 special events each month for the members and some are open to the public. You don't have to own a boat to join. Our kitchen & wait staff of 11 prepares some of the best meals in town! Application information is on our website.
The clubhouse is available for rental for wedding receptions, class reunions and other events. Check out our website at www.danvilleboatclub.com for menu options and costs to join. Our food service staff will also cater events off premises. We are known for our Prime Rib dinners the last Friday of each month. Prime Rib is slow roasted in our outdoor oven.
Come enjoy Lake Vermilion with us. Dining on the deck when the weather is good. Boating events, fireworks in July, hot air balloons etc. You don’t have to own a house on the lake to enjoy the lake!
