Back with another HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) exercise!

Featuring our giant cat towers and our fur baby sapphire the star of the show ⭐️

Reverse lung to high knee for 30 seconds on each set.

Now this exercises is a HUGE fat killer and why is that ?

When you take your body from doing nothing to pushing to 70-80% maximum effort it burns 4x the amount of calories you would if you sat on the treadmill for 30 minutes. 🤮

It burns ton amount of energy in terms burning a S$&$ load of fat !!😈

So it’s time for your ego to take a seat and relax 😉

Time to actually get a coach that cares about you burning fat and not just burning a paycheck. 🔥

Where do you get all your protein?

Can you even build muscle being plant based ?

Can you even be healthy just eating plants ?

The answer is (drumroll )......
F**K YEAH!!! 🤯

I have been plant based for almost three years now and I’ll I’ve seen is nothing but results since the change.

My joints don’t hurt anymore , my muscles are more toned (not to mention way bigger), I have more energy and my testosterone is up even higher😉

With a huge meat shortage coming across America what it is stopping you from becoming plant based ??

I’ll say it: I’ve been anxious.

Yup.

While coaches might seem invincible at times, we are not immune to stress and anxiety.

And right now, the anxiety in the world feels like it’s at an all-time high.

So, I’ve been buckling down on my self-care.

What do I do when I feel a bout of anxiety coming on?🤨

🧘🏽‍♂️ I slow down and lean on my healthy coping mechanisms. For me, that’s:

Focusing on My Breath
I’ll stay focusing on my breath until feelings of anxiety subside, or at least become more manageable.

Exercising 🏋🏾‍♂️
Even if this is the last thing you feel like doing when anxious, you’ll feel 100x better afterwards.

Calling Someone 📱
Whether this is a good friend, a therapist, or loved one, talking it out can be incredibly helpful. Hearing another’s perspective can be grounding and comforting.

Journaling 📝
Sometimes, it can be tough to know what you’re feeling before putting pen to paper. So, I write it down. Anything and everything.

Doing Something I Love 🐈
Take a bubble bath. Walk the dog. Clean the house. Sign up for a class and learn something new. Draw. Write. Cuddle the cat. Shifting focus to a specific activity can take the focus off of anxiety.

I try to practice these both on days of intense anxiety, and days where things are going well in order to maintain my mental health! Please give them a go and let me know how you feel! As always, reach out anytime. Your online fitness community is here for support.

What opportunities are you creating RIGHT NOW?🧠

I ask because right now we have two choices. You can EITHER:

-Lead with fear and retreat
OR
-Shift your mindset and turn that fear into OPPORTUNITY🤯

And I know my fitness folks are the type to get after that opportunity!!

As the state of the world has changed, the concerns of my clients have changed.

I’m now being asked: How do I stay motivated in times like this? 😞

And the truth is: you might not stay motivated.

Not the answer you were looking for? Tough pill to swallow?

Well, look at it this way:

Were you ALWAYS motivated to hit your workouts, smash your nutrition, and live your best life BEFORE we were social distancing and working from home?

I highly doubt it.
But guess what?
YOU DID IT ANYWAY.

Motivation may not always be there.
That’s where DISCIPLINE and SUPPORT come in.

Just because your circumstances have changed, doesn’t mean you should value yourself less. And it doesn’t mean you should give yourself excuses to forget about your health.

So, what did you do to be disciplined before?

Did you schedule in your workouts? Meal prep on Sundays? Check in with your coach?

Keep at it! Follow through on your protocols, lean on your coach and online fitness community for support, and soon enough, “healthy” becomes a routine.📝

Getting a little fancy with a great jump squat variation that works on those quick twitch muscle fibers. These fibers are the ones that control your jumps, explosiveness , and acceleration. 🤾🏾

Gyms across America are shutting down. I know you’re probably feeling really frustrated and maybe even a little confused about continuing your schedule. You’re worried that you’ll fall off of your plan and not reach the goals you’ve set for yourself.🥺⬇️

That doesn’t have to be the case! Just because you don’t have access to a big sparkly gym with all of its fancy machines, doesn’t mean you have to stop being active! “But my apartment is too small! I don’t have the room to workout.” Nonsense! There are workouts you can do, even if you only have 6”x6” of free space. So, no more
Excuses!! 📝💪🏽

You need very little space and even less equipment to complete most of the activities in my 30 day at home workout challenge. The only thing I ask you to bring is your sweat!!

The Top 3 Unhealthy Stress Responses to AVOID
Yeah, that’s right. In times like this, you’re probably doing one of these three things:

1️⃣. Leaning on comfort food
Some people stocked up on toilet paper, and you stocked up on extra chips. Or maybe you’re taking this time as an excuse to drink more than normally. Let me tell you, no amount of food is going to do the inner work that this time is calling you to do! Need comfort? Learn how to find it within yourself. You’ll feel better at the end of the day, both mentally and in terms of digestion 😉

2️⃣. Playing the victim
You feel bad for yourself for being in this situation which leads you to do nothing about it. But guess what? Most people have it bad in some shape or form right now. Give yourself a set amount of time to feel bad for yourself, and then move on. Take action in the form of small steps, and it will not only make you feel better, but it will help change your situation.

3️⃣. Being selfish
You’re stuck in the us vs. them mentality. Now, this is a totally natural response. It comes from fear. But it doesn’t do anyone any good to live in fight or flight. Check on your neighbors. Reach out to your community and those in need. Connect with your virtual fitness community. Trust me, you’ll feel a lot better if you shift your mindset towards community, and away from competitiveness. We’re all in this together. 🤝

If you’re thinking, “Pshh, none of those sound like me!”...Just wait. Next time you’re stressed, take a moment to pause and notice what comes up. Then challenge yourself to do better! 🧠

A full Re**us abdominus (top, middle, and lower abs) that will benefit you more than doing 1000 crunches a day. Now you can do this exercise for a specific time (30 seconds) or rep range (10-15). 🔥

Because I mean what are you without a stronger core ? Balance , stability , and rotation come from the core. So you improve in one area and you also improve three other areas. 📝fact check.

Now I’d call that a domino effect 🎲🎲🎲
