The Danville Iron are excited to announce the signing of forward, Michael Sauer!

Michael is joining us from the South Africa U20 National team! When asked about Sauer, Danville head coach Bo Cheesman states,

"Michael is the type of player every coach wants on their team. He has incredible tenacity on the puck and always seems to find himself where the action is. His work ethic is second to none, and he's the kind of player who comes to the rink every day looking to improve. He competes with purpose, brings energy to every shift, and has a unique flair to his game that reflects his South African roots. Michael is going to be an exciting player for our fans to watch because he plays with passion, creativity, and relentless determination."

The Danville Iron are excited to announce the signing of Nevada native defensemen, Caiden O’Hara!

Caiden is joining us from the Bremerton Sockeyes of the USPHL. When asked about O’Hara, Danville head coach Bo Cheesman states,

“Caiden is a strong, two-way defenseman who combines a physical presence with outstanding offensive instincts. His ability to move the puck, create scoring opportunities, and impact the game at both ends of the ice makes him a valuable addition to our roster.

Beyond his on-ice abilities, Caiden brings invaluable junior hockey experience and exceptional leadership qualities. As we establish the culture and identity of the Danville Iron, we will look to Caiden to help mentor our first-year players, set the standard for what it means to wear the Iron crest, and play a key role in building the foundation for years to come.

We are thrilled to welcome Caiden to the Danville Iron family and look forward to the leadership, competitiveness, and positive impact he will bring both on the ice and throughout the Danville community.”

Chace is joining us from the Connecticut Jr Rangers program. When asked about Hunter, Danville head coach Bo Cheesman states,

His relentless work ethic, physical style of play, and exceptional awareness on the ice make him a dependable presence in every situation. Hunter competes hard every shift, embraces all three zones, and consistently does the little things that help teams win. His versatility allows him to contribute in every facet of the game, and he’s a player we know we can count on night after night. We’re excited to have Hunter wearing a Danville Iron jersey this season.”
