Marshall had an awesome season for us! He had a .909 save % this year and was the Little East Goalie of the Week once.

Congratulations to Tyler Stewart on signing with the Knoxville Ice Bears in the Southern Professional Hockey League.

Tyler will be an awesome late season addition to the Ice Bears roster. We couldn’t be more proud of him for earning this opportunity!

Tyler came to us from Fairbanks Ice Dogs in the NAHL where he had 43 points in 54 games his final season.

In his four seasons as a Corsair he had 144 points in 104 games.

Excited to see what he’ll do next!

Talk about leadership 🫡

Ruffner is #1 in the entire country for shots blocked. Our team is also ranked #1 in this category in the NCAA. He’s not the only guy doing it but he sure set the standard every shift.

Our next player to recognize from the season is Hunter “Moose” Scanlon.

Mr. Scanlon had an impressive 25 point season in 25 games as a defenseman. That puts him at #6 in the country. Moose passed former Captain Jacob Maynard (24) for single season points as a sophomore. He was #4 in the Little East for total assists. Moose was also #2 in the Little East for shots blocked.

Congratulations to our Captain Lane Ruffner on his 100th game on senior night. Lane is an outstanding example of what a captain should be. Selfless. Lane gave everything he could to this team night in and night out. No words can sum up what he means to this family. We are very thankful to have had this guy wearing the Corsair on his chest.

Lanes leadership was done by action. He lead the team into battle every night and lead by example. Leading from the front line and putting himself to n harms way for the betterment of his brothers. Whether it was a big hit to get the energy up or a key blocked shot he consistently got the team going!

Delicious meal for the boys! Shout out to the staff as well for being accommodating as well! Already excited for next years trip back up.
