We are looking forward to hosting Andrea Lembo Sensei next week. Andrea Sensei is a 5th Dan and Senior Instructor at the Ibaragi Dojo in Rome. It is exciting to foster and participate in the increasingly global community of Aikido. There are always new perspectives and unique insights to share with our fellow students and teachers.

Congratulations to Scott and Tracey for receiving their Yondan and Shodan certificates.

On March 14th, we hosted Christopher Picardo Sensei from the Brown University Aikido Club as a guest instructor. It was an excellent breakdown of some of the most fundamental aspects of training like footwork. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.

A big thank you to Larry Murray Sensei for instructing class at our dojo last Tuesday. It was a great reminder that Aikido training should focus on the self and moving our own bodies, keeping ourselves safe; not focused on beating your opponent or trying to force them where you want them to go.

And it was fun!
