The Ving Tsun Martial Art Association / Wing Chun Society is dedicated to teaching Wing Chun Kung Fu as it has been passed on directly from his Sifu. We offer open classes, that promotes an environment of open learning, honesty and respect, with safe, practical and enjoyable training. Our mission is to share the art of Ving Tsun "Wing Chun", by welcoming anyone to the school who is truly interested in learning the art.

So many emotions are difficult to put into words.

After more than 10 years under my guidance and countless hours of training, dedication, and sacrifice, I am proud to recognize two new Sifus from our school.

Sifu Roy Dorsett and Sifu Alan Wedell

This recognition follows a three-year assessment and observation process. The decision was based not only on Wing Chun skill and understanding, but also on personal character, integrity, commitment, and the responsibility to represent our family teachings.

As Sifus, we are guides, but we must always remain students. The title is not the end of the journey—the hard work has only begun.

Continue to learn, grow, and honor the family teachings passed down to us.

In Wing Chun, we often talk about learning to listen with the hands.

But before the hands can listen, the body must become quiet.

Too much tension creates noise. Too much intention makes us anticipate. Relaxation allows us to feel what is actually happening—not what we think is happening.

The goal is not to become passive. It is to become sensitive. "Develop the listen skills"

Feel the pressure.
Recognize the change.
Respond without forcing.

Quiet the body, and the hands begin to hear.

Once you figure out the Formula things start to change in your learning to your practice.
