🔥TRAINER SPOTLIGHT: STEPH SCHRADER🔥

Steph has been part of the Kosama family for years, so we were SO excited when she finally joined the trainer team!

Steph is always pushing herself in workouts and challenging herself to see just how heavy she can lift. 💪 But what we love just as much is how intentional she is about proper form. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to help make sure you’re moving safely and getting the most out of your workout.

And you’ll pretty much always find Steph with a smile on her face! She’s the kind of workout buddy who makes you want to work a little harder while also having a whole lot of fun doing it. 🩵

Whether she’s challenging you, correcting your form, cheering you on, or just making you laugh, Steph brings so much to our team and our KOSAMA community.

We’re SO lucky to have you, Steph! 😊

I usually coach 4:30 or 5:30 but over the summer and breaks I love to coach at 9 and 11:30 too.

I speak more Spanish than Jess 🤪

💙What is your go to coffee/drink order?

Redband’s New Orleans ice coffee is my true ride or die. But my go to is usually an iced caramel latte.

💙What is your fav lower and upper kettlebell exercise?

Lower: Bulgarian split squats Upper: any kind of rows

💙What is one fitness goal you are working on achieving?

Currently, I’m just working on staying active during my busy time of the year, but I want to work on adding more mobility to my routine this year. I need to do better about making time for it.

💙Why do you enjoy coaching at Kosama? I love the people here!

The trainers and members are some of the nicest and most supportive people I know. Everyone is willing to give their all in a workout, help new members feel welcome and cheer on the people working out with them. It’s so inspiring to see and keeps me coming back after all these years.

Feel Good Friday 💙

You know you have amazing members when you can talk the guys into singing Justin Bieber… without them even knowing the words. 😂🎤

They weren’t afraid to look silly, they committed 100%, and honestly, the fact that they didn’t know the lyrics made it even better. 😂

💪🏽 TRAINER SPOTLIGHT: CHRISTINA KREINBRING💪🏽

Afternoon crew… you know Christina. 😏

Christina is the one who’s going to get you through that lunch break workout and make sure you get the most out of it. She isn’t afraid to challenge you — or herself — and I mean… just LOOK at those muscles! 💪🏼 You can tell she’s put in the work and accomplished a lot.

She’s goofy, fun, and definitely not afraid to call you out when you need it. 😂 But she’ll also be one of the first people cheering you on when you’re pushing yourself.

And behind those muscles is a mom of three boys who has shown just how strong a woman can be. Her boys are lucky to have one seriously amazing mama in their corner.

✨We’re lucky to have her in ours.✨

Get to know more about Christina below! ⬇️

💙 What do you do for work? Family?

Blessed bigly to have been able to be a stay at home mom for 3 boys (who are now 21, 24 & 25) I’ve been married to my husband Kyle for 29 years!

💙 What class times do you normally coach?

I normally coach 1130, though I’ve coached a few 9:00 here and there.

💙 What’s your favorite style of class to coach?

I truly love coaching any and all classes!! I would probably tend to prefer K-Rock, K-Strong & K-Power. My favorite is encouraging people to push themselves - to move a little faster or lift a little heavier than they think they can, while maintaining proper form. Most of us are capable of more than we believe we are. Sometimes, all we need is a little push to dig deep and TRY!

💙 What’s something people may not know about you?

Something people may not know about me is that I am an IRONMAN! I completed the 2.4 mile swim,112 mile bike and the 26.2 mile run in about 14 hours in Louisville KY when I was in my 40’s! Its still one of my proudest accomplishments. Im so glad I said YES! when the opportunity presented itself! That experience helped shape the way I think about fitness. Our bodies age and change throughout the years, and there will come a time when our bodies can no longer do what they can do right now, today. That’s why I believe we should appreciate, embrace and celebrate what our bodies are capable of every single day. A healthy body is the greatest asset we can have. And movement is our daily deposit!

💙 What is your go-to coffee/drink order?

I love my coffee with my vanilla protein! I make it at home and look forward to it every single morning - iced in the summer, hot in the winter. If I’m ordering coffee out, Im pretty simple….sugar free white chocolate mocha, half sweet, 2% or skim milk - with whipped cream, of course Everything in moderation ; )

💙 What is your favorite lower and upper kettlebell exercise?

My favorite upper body kettlebell exercises would be strict press, push press or Arnold press. Favorite lower body kettle bell exercises would be swings, back lunges, deadlift, cleans and snatches. But give me combo lift and I’m over the moon….double kb clean to push press!! Love it!!

💙 What is one fitness goal you are working on achieving?

My primary fitness goal is to continue rebuilding the muscle I lost after recent health issues. And to maintain my flexibility & mobility. Just gotta keep on movin’!!

💙 Why do you enjoy coaching at Kosama?

The thing I enjoy most about coaching at Kosama is getting to support, encourage and witness people of all different ages and stages putting in the time and work to be the best version of themselves! And hopefully having a little fun while doing it!! Kosama is fitness for every. body. And Im honored to be a part of it!

✨TRAINER SPOTLIGHT: MISSY SOLIZ ✨

Where do we even START with Missy?! 🥹💙

Missy has been with Kosama since DAY ONE, and if you know her, you know she has one of the absolute biggest hearts around.

She’s the person who grounds us. The one who is always there — whether she’s pushing right alongside you in a workout, coaching you through it, offering guidance, or helping your mind and body slow down during one of her yoga or recovery classes.

And can we talk about how FIT AS HECK she is?! 💪🏽 Those arms are definitely GOALS.

But honestly, we could go on and on about Missy. She brings so much to Kosama, and we’re pretty lucky to have had her here since the very beginning.

She’s truly one of a kind. 💙

Get to know more about Missy below! ⬇️

💙 What do you do for work? Family?

I have worked at a local healthcare facility for 23 years. I have two adult children and a one granddaughter.

💙 How long have you been a part of the Kosama family?

Since day one. I’ve been part of the Kosama family for more than 15 years, dating back to when Kosama first opened, and I’ve been coaching for over a decade now!

💙 What class time(s) do you normally coach?

5am and 6am

💙 What’s your favorite style of class to coach?

Strength for sure. And “K-Fit” is a good one to coach, since it mixes 3 different formats into one class. I do also love the off-the-chart energy I get when coaching kickboxing, it is so so fun!

💙 What’s something people may not know about you?

Probably that I am a homebody. I prefer to spend my free time at one of three places: home, my parents’ house, and Kosama

💙 What is your go-to coffee/drink order?

Diet Coke—always Diet Coke. 😂

💙 What is your favorite lower- and upper-body kettlebell exercise?

This is a tough question because I have so many favorites! For lower body, I love kettlebell swings, elevated lunges, and heels-elevated squats. For upper body, I would say variations of shoulder presses and tricep moves (e.g, kickback toss and plank with alternating tricep kickback)

💙 What is one fitness goal you are working on achieving?

My goal is to continue building and maintaining strength, mobility, and overall fitness as I get older.

💙 Why do you enjoy coaching at Kosama?

I LOVE the people! It is such a great community. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping someone push past what they thought they could do and watching them become stronger and more confident over time. It will never get old!!!

✨ TRAINER SPOTLIGHT: ADRIANE LATHAM✨

Sweet, creative, energetic, and SO much fun — that’s our Adriane! 🫶🏽

If you’ve ever walked in and thought, “Dang, the board looks extra good today,” chances are Adriane had something to do with it. 😂 She’s always adding that extra little pizzazz!

But don’t let the sweetness fool you… once that mic goes on, she means BUSINESS. 💪🏼🔥 She works hard, pushes herself, brings the energy, and makes sure you’re doing the same.

We’re lucky to have this creative, hardworking, genuinely sweet human on our team! 💙

Learn more about Adriane below! ⬇️

💙 What do you do for work? Family?

I’m a third grade teacher, and I also coach soccer. I love being able to work with kids both in the classroom and on the field!

💙 How long have you been a part of the KOSAMA family?

I joined the KOSAMA family in the summer of 2025!

💙 What class time(s) do you normally coach?

During the school year, you can usually find me coaching the 4:30 and 5:30 classes. In the summer, my schedule is all over the place!

💙 What’s your favorite style of class to coach?

I love EMOMs and HIIT-style workouts. Give me something fast-paced that keeps everyone moving!

💙 What’s something people may not know about you?

I love being crafty! It’s one of my favorite ways to relax and relieve stress when my body needs a break from working out.

💙 What is your go-to coffee/drink order?

A cold brew with cold foam or a latte! I like to switch it up, so I’m always up for trying something new.

💙 What is your favorite lower and upper kettlebell exercise?

For lower body, definitely a back lunge to crossover curtsy lunge. For upper body, chest press is my go-to!

💙 What is one fitness goal you are working on achieving?

Learning to appreciate what my body can do instead of comparing myself to others, and giving myself a little more grace along the way.

💙 Why do you enjoy coaching at KOSAMA?

The coaches and members are what make KOSAMA so special to me. I’ve made lifelong friends, and they make working out so much more enjoyable. Everyone genuinely wants to see each other succeed. It never feels like a competition, it feels like a community that supports and celebrates each other.

☕️ You’ve all been asking for the Jenny Jasper special…you can find it below ☕️

Jenny is one of our longest-standing coaches and is always bringing the energy, pushing you to be better, and holding you accountable. She’s also a mom to two cutie girls, so you know she has her hands full 😅.

She’s been part of the Kosama family for 11 years now, first as a member and then as a coach, and we’re so lucky to have her bringing the energy to every class she coaches!

Get to know Jenny below ⬇️💙

💙 What do you do for work? Family?
I am in my 9th year of teaching PE. I taught 2 years at an elementary and am currently in my 7th year at Bettendorf High School. I have been married to my husband Brandon for 7 years and we have 2 daughters, Baylor (4) and Teagan (1.). Plus two fur pups- Mila and Remi. 😍

💙 How long have you been a part of the Kosama family?
I started as a member in November 2015 and began coaching November of 2018.

💙 What class time(s) do you normally coach?
During the school year I coach 5/6 and 430/530. But during the summer you will see me at almost any class time coaching.

💙 What’s your favorite style of class to coach?
I love coaching a lower body K-Strong/K-Rock to see members true potential with their weights. But I also really enjoy coaching cardio classes because of the energy it brings out in me! Even though I’m not one who loves cardio herself. 🤪

💙 What’s something people may not know about you?
Some know this but, my husband and I have the same birthday. Like the exact same. We were both born in September 17th, 1992. In the same hospital…2 hours apart.

💙 What is your go to coffee/drink order?
I am an iced coffee gal through and through. I loved anything that is vanilla or caramel flavoring. From Starbucks it’s a double or triple shot of blonde espresso, 2 pumps of brown sugar, 1 pump of SF vanilla syrup and whole milk. Anywhere else if it’s caramel or vanilla I’m in! Or an ice crisp Diet Coke, specifically from Jimmy John’s. 🤤

💙 What is your fav lower and upper kettlebell exercise?
Lower body: front foot elevated back lunge. Upper body: either chest press or lying close grip press.

💙 What is one fitness goal you are working on achieving?
I would love to be able to get back to being able to do an un-assisted pull-up/chin up.

💙 Why do you enjoy coaching at Kosama?
The community is unlike anything I’ve been apart of. It truly feels like a second family. As a coach seeing members reach goals they’ve been working so hard on, or picking up a heavier weight they didn’t think they could do and see their face light up is truly a feeling that is hard to explain. And being able to motivate and help members reach those goals is a reward in itself. Not only do I get to push them through workouts but working out right along side of them drives me to be stronger. Lindsay has built something so special and I’m so lucky to have been apart of it for the past 11 years.

09/04/2026

With lots of new faces around Kosama, we thought it was time to reintroduce you to the awesome team behind the workouts! 👏

Some of you may not see every trainer depending on the class times you come to, but just know — our whole team is here for you. Have a question? Ask any trainer (or even a fellow Kosamie!). We’re all here to help.

We will be highlighting each trainer individually throughout September.

First up: Jenn Kollin! 💪🏼

Jenn is a mom of two boys, but that doesn’t stop her from getting up early and putting in the work. You’ll often find her at the 5AM class, surrounded by her crew and ready to get after it. And if you ever need someone to work out with you, Jenn is always up for it!

We’re lucky to have her on the Kosama team.

Learn more about Jenn below! ⬇️

💙 What do you do for work? Family?
I work for John Deere, and outside of work, I’m busy being mom to two boys! Nick and I have Gavin, 17, and Nolan, 10.

💙 How long have you been a part of the Kosama family?
I’ve been part of the Kosama family since 2023.

💙 What class time(s) do you normally coach?
5AM, 6AM, 4:30PM and 5:30PM. Although all my 5AMers know my heart rate spikes just as much when I’m coaching 5AM as it does when I’m working out! 😂

💙 What’s your favorite style of class to coach?
Anything high energy! I love a class where the music is loud, the energy is high, and everyone is on the edge of dying!

💙 What’s something people may not know about you?
I’m training for my first and probably last half marathon! After running the Bix for the first time this year, I told myself I would never do it again… and then 2 days later I decided if I can do 7, why not go for 13.1?!

💙 What is your go-to coffee/drink order?
The Jenny Jasper Special at Starbucks. It’s way too complicated to type out, but if you know, you know. ☕️

💙 What is your favorite lower and upper kettlebell exercise?
Lower: Swings
Upper: Close-grip press

💙 What is one fitness goal you are working on achieving?
Right now, I’m just trying to stay afloat! Balancing my run training while still finding time to lift has definitely been a challenge. My goal is to keep making progress with my running while still staying strong and making time for the workouts I love at Kosama.

💙 Why do you enjoy coaching at Kosama?
I love the energy, the people, and the community. Kosama has become so much more than just a gym to me. It’s my happy place and my safe place. I love pushing people to do things they didn’t think they could do and celebrating their wins with them. There’s nothing better than watching someone walk out of class feeling stronger and more confident than when they walked in! 💙
