Week 1 of Camp Kadima is officially in the bag! ☀️

What a week it has been. From field trips and a science show to candle making, Dave & Buster’s, breakfast at Abbie’s, soccer fun and College Jersey Day, our campers kicked off summer with endless energy, smiles and adventure.

We are calling this one of the best weeks yet, but don’t worry, there is so much more to come.

Rest up, recharge and enjoy the weekend, campers. We will see you Monday for Week 2 and more “Dive Into Adventure” fun! 💙

🏆 At the recent annual board meeting for the David Posnack JCC in Davie, the Davie Police Department was honored to receive the Tikkun Olam Award for our continued service and partnership with the Jewish community. It was a privilege to accept this recognition, and we are grateful to the JCC board and staff for this meaningful honor.

More than a food truck, The Square Bowl is an innovative mobile kitchen powered by the David Posnack JCC’s HIRE-Ability program. This vocational training initiative supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through hands-on experience in the restaurant, hospitality, and food service industries.
Through The Square Bowl, participants gain real-world skills, build confidence, and work toward meaningful employment opportunities with the support of our community partners.
