Today I finished my last lessons of 2022. While the break is much needed, I am going to miss everyone dearly!
I am so grateful to have met so many amazing kids and their families. I love having a positive impact in my community. This hobby of mine brings me so much joy.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again in March! Have a great holiday season ❤️❤️❤️🏊♀️

FLORIDA WINTER IS COMING … and you should really think about buying your child a wetsuit.
Even if you hear your pool to 90*+, the 30* drop in temperature will definitely be noticeable 😏 Keep your kiddo as warm and comfortable as possible for the end of fall & spring seasons!

I need to offer a big shoutout to one of my best families, the Bupp’s! 🏊♂️
Over the last year, they have been extremely consistent with their 2 year old, Austin, and it shows! Austin’s progress has been incredible to watch. He is on the cusp of swimming independently 😍
This year, I’m SO happy to work with the newest member of the family, little Miss Madison, who started her first swim lesson this past Thursday. Madi is 6 months old and is at a prime age; she is developing her motor skills and is learning the foundations of swim mechanics. We are capitalizing on this time with her and will be as consistent as possible so she may have a seamless swim transition, just like her big brother!
Madi is also (clearly) too dang adorbable. She is always smiling and in a good mood 99% of the time. She’s a total boss baby with her little sunglasses and has some serious style in her swimwear. I can’t wait to see her become an amazing swimmer!! 😁

Hoping everyone is safe and sound after the hurricane! Please check your pools for debris and double check the temperature. All of the rainwater will definitely have cooled things down! 🌀

We so greatly appreciate the kind words! 🏊♂️🏊🏿🏊♀️

They will also remember the things they were taught and by whom (both positive AND negative experiences)!
When I teach, I always reflect on the teachers I had in the past. Some of my mentors were absolutely amazing and were patient, kind, thoughtful, inclusive, and encouraging. I also had the opposite with other teachers and I’ll NEVER forget them for that reason 😫
It’s incredible to see how we are shaped as people from the experiences we have when we are young. I hope to have every child walk away and remember their swim teacher in a positive light and as a good influence on them ☀️

WELCOME, LUCAS! 🏊♂️😃 We are so happy to have you!
Lucas is adorable. Each day he tells me, “I’m a big boy,” “I can do it,” and says “I’m okay” if he ever makes a mistake 😂❤️ Seeing his little smile widen when I arrive to his house give me joy.
We are still working on pronouncing “Ms Erica” but for now, “Disserica” will do! 😂 I can’t wait to watch you grow into a super swimmer!
