Character. Courage. A place in SharkNation. September’s boys’ spotlight belongs to Garrett B.! 🦈

Congratulations to Garrett, our Boys’ Player of the Month!

Garrett has been playing with the Sharks for one year. He plays center back, and his favorite professional player is Lionel Messi.

His favorite part of playing for the Sharks?
“The people. They are very welcoming and treat me very well.”

Coach Bolivar shared why he selected Garrett:

“I chose Garrett because I believe that, since joining the Club this year, he has demonstrated great personality, character, and courage—ideal qualities for a solid and level-headed player on the court. In addition to his excellent physical attributes, his cognitive abilities and understanding of the game have been a great asset to the team's style of play.”

Garrett values the people around him, and Coach Bolivar recognizes what he brings to that group: character, composure and an understanding of the game that helps his team.

SharkNation, help us congratulate Garrett in the comments! 💙⚽️🦈

September’s Shark Spotlight belongs to our boys! 🦈

Meet our Boys’ Player of the Month nominees!

New to SharkNation? Each month, every coach nominates one player from their team based on:

✅ Attendance
✅ Training and game performance
✅ Attitude and leadership
✅ Teamwork and character

This recognition celebrates the habits we value at Davie United: showing up, competing, supporting teammates and representing SharkNation with character.

From these nominees, one player is selected as the overall Boys’ Player of the Month and featured in a separate spotlight.

Congratulations to all of September’s nominees! Families and teammates, help us celebrate them in the comments. 💙🦈⚽️

Congratulations to Addison, our Girls’ Player of the Month!

Addison plays center attacking midfield, and her favorite professional player is Alex Morgan.

Her favorite part of playing for the Sharks?
“Being able to get better and play with my friends.”

Coach Frank shared why she earned this recognition:

“Addison is our Player of the Month because she has improved tremendously in the past year. Her improvement is no accident—it's the direct result of her hard work and commitment to this team. She shows up every practice with a genuine desire to get better, and whenever the team needs her, she's there. This month she has shown up for her team by scoring goals and assisting her teammates.”

The goals and assists matter. So does the commitment behind them. Addison’s willingness to learn and show up for her teammates is exactly what our Player of the Month program celebrates.

SharkNation, help us congratulate Addison in the comments! 💙🦈⚽️

🦈 Fundraiser Winner! 🦈

A huge congratulations to Alexa from our U17G N1 team, who sold an incredible 29 Papa John’s cards as part of her team’s fundraiser!

Alexa reached out to friends, family, and her parents’ coworkers and absolutely crushed it! We love celebrating our Sharks who go above and beyond for their teams.

Way to go, Alexa! Your hard work and hustle deserve some SharkNation recognition!

And a big thank you to for being part of a great fundraising opportunity for our team! 🦈⚽️💙

3 SHARKS. ONE ALL-REGION HONOR.

Congratulations to Branden Estevez, Andrew Chiorean and Marcus Frost of our ECNL RL 2008/09 team on being named to the ECNL RL All-Regional Team!

This recognition reflects years of hard work, commitment and belief, but what stood out most in their interviews was how quickly they credited their teammates, coaches and families for helping them reach this moment.

Branden, Andrew and Marcus, SharkNation is incredibly proud of you. Keep working, keep believing and keep showing the next generation of Sharks what is possible.

The work continues. This is only the beginning. 🦈
