Mimi Chietti - #11, Player Of The Year

In 2024, Mimi was our starting goalie, finishing with a 4.00 goals-against average and a .582 save percentage—ranking 4th in the WWLL. The following year, in a selfless decision to strengthen the team, she volunteered to transition out of goal so others could share time in net.
This shift required learning an entirely new position, yet Mimi embraced the challenge. Through relentless effort, she developed into a dominant midfielder, where her energy, awareness, and work ethic set her apart.
Now in 2026, she ranks among the league’s best, recording 16 assists (4th in WWLL, 20th nationally), 35 points (7th in WWLL), 52 draw controls (10th nationally), 13 goals (13th in WWLL), 33 ground balls (17th nationally), and 23 caused turnovers (17th nationally)—remarkable production for a second-year field player. She has twice earned recognition as a WWLL all star and was awarded WWLL Player of the year honors this season.
More importantly, Mimi leads through action. Her work ethic, humility, and team-first mindset elevate everyone around her.

We are all so proud of you Mimi! Can’t wait to keep you another year.

Lauren Elliott, #1 - WWLL Second Team

Throughout her first WCLA season, Lauren demonstrated exceptional skill, consistency, and leadership, making a significant impact on our team’s success, all while achieving an impressive 3.845 GPA.
She was dominant on draw controls, consistently giving our team a competitive edge in possession and setting the tone for our offensive opportunities. Beyond her control in the midfield, Lauren proved to be a well-rounded contributor offensively, not only scoring key goals but also facilitating play with an impressive 30 assists. Her vision and unselfish style of play elevated those around her and made her an essential part of our attack.
Lauren finished the season with 78 draw controls, 30 Caused turnovers, 30 assists, and 50 points for national rankings of 3rd, 4th, 7th and 14th respectively -a testament to her work ethic, determination, and technical ability. Equally important, she was a great teammate—supportive, dependable, and committed to the success of the group above individual accolades.
Her performance reflects the highest standards of student-athlete excellence.

Nicole Hazen, #11 First Team All Conference

Nicole has been an integral part of the UC Davis program, demonstrating exceptional commitment, athletic performance, and leadership throughout the season.
Nicole distinguishes herself not only through her game-day performance but also through her relentless work ethic in practice. She approaches every training session with the same intensity and focus that she brings to competition, setting a standard for her teammates and contributing to a culture of accountability and excellence within the program. Over the course of the season, Nicole’s development has been evident. Her performance steadily improved, reflecting both her dedication and her ability to translate preparation into results. Statistically, her progression underscores her impact, particularly in her defensive contributions.
One of Nicole’s most notable strengths is her ability to create turnovers where she ranked 1st in the country with 44, especially against high-level competition. As the season advanced and the level of play intensified, she elevated her performance accordingly. In the postseason, she recorded four caused turnovers in each playoff game—an impressive achievement given the caliber of opponents in the Western Women’s Lacrosse League (WWLL).
