UC Davis Women's Golf

Over the weekend we celebrated the past season and gave out our team awards!!

Thank you to this group of Aggies for all hard work this past year and we can’t wait to see what’s next!!

Congratulations to Lauren Calderon on winning this year’s second annual “Kathy DeYoung Award”!!

Women’s golf set the pace for the Aggie athletics department with a department-best 3.87 GPA during the winter quarter.

Michelle Ho has officially burst onto the scene!!

The Aggie freshman earns Big West Freshman of the Year honors, becomes the first Aggie since 2017 to be named Big West Freshman of the Year and the sixth Aggie to ever earn the recognition!!

Have a tournament!!

After shooting even for par and tying for fifth at the Big West Championships, Lauren Calderon, Vani Karimanal and Elina Kuang have all been named to the Big West All-Tournament team!!

Aggies finish second after battling over the final 18 holes at the Big West Championships.

Vani Karimanal, Lauren Calderon and Elina Kuang all shoot even for par and finish tied for fifth. While Yu ‘Yoyo” Bai finished 23rd (+8) and Michelle Ho came in 38th (+16).

Aggie sit in second after 36 holes ready for a run at the Big West title in tomorrow’s third round at the Big West Championships!

Vani Karimanal (E) and Elina Kuang (E) sit tied for fourth after Kuang shoots a 71 (-1) to move up eight spots. Lauren Calderon sits tied for ninth (+2), Yu “Yoyo” Bai rounds out four Aggies in the tip 20 sitting tied for 18th at +5 and Michelle Ho is placed tied for 34th at +12.

UC Davis tees off the final round tomorrow, at 11:50 a.m. PT.

UC Davis shoots an impressive first round at the Big West Championships, entering the clubhouse in first at -3!!

Vani Karimanal leads the way tied for second overall at -3, Lauren Calderon sits just behind her in fifth after a -1. Yu “Yoyo” Bai rounds out the top 10, sitting tied for 10th after shooting even for par, while Elina Kuang sits 12th after shooting +1 and Michelle Ho is in 27th after a +4 opening round.

Aggies tee off round two today, at 3:10 p.m. PT!!
