🚨 COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Please help us welcome Coach Josh Bass as the Head Coach of our 9th Grade Class of 2030 team!

Coach Bass is entering his third year coaching at Lapeer and his second season as the JV head coach and a varsity assistant. His experience also includes coaching Lapeer’s seventh-grade team and previously serving as the JV head coach at Bendle.

Before beginning his coaching career, Coach Bass played three years of varsity basketball at Flint Central and continued competing in men’s leagues and tournaments.

Coach Bass believes strongly in player development and building meaningful relationships with his athletes—creating the trust and accountability needed for every player to fully buy in.

We’re excited to have Coach Bass leading our Class of 2030 group on the 3SSB Circuit this season! 🃏🟣🟢

Please help us welcome Maurice Baker-Fields as the new Head Coach of our 5th Grade Class of 2034 team! 🃏🏀

Coach Baker-Fields brings more than 10 years of experience coaching, mentoring, and developing student-athletes at the varsity, JV, and freshman levels. His résumé includes serving as the Varsity Boys’ Head Coach at Atherton, along with previous coaching stops at Bentley, Powers Catholic, and Carman-Ainsworth.

He brings a proven record of building competitive, disciplined, and player-focused teams, including back-to-back league conference championships. His experience in player development, game planning, academic accountability, team culture, and program leadership makes him a great addition to our staff.

Coach Baker-Fields will lead our Class of 2034 group as we develop them on and off the court and prepare them to compete on the Jr. 3SSB circuit.

🚨 WELCOME TO THE STAFF 🚨

Please welcome Taylin Muldrew to the D1TV Jokers family as our Program Player Development and Skill Trainer! 🃏🏀

Taylin will work with players throughout our program on ball handling, shooting, footwork, finishing through contact, decision-making and overall skill development.

His experience, knowledge and passion for developing players will be a major addition as we prepare our athletes to compete on the Jr. 3SSB and 3SSB Gold circuits.

Development is the foundation. We’re excited to have Taylin helping take our players and program to another level!

Please welcome Coach Jacob Smith as the head coach of our Class of 2035 fourth-grade team! 🃏

Coach Smith currently serves as the freshman basketball coach at Linden and brings seven years of coaching experience to our program. His knowledge, leadership and passion for developing young athletes make him the perfect coach to lead this group.

This season will be about building a strong foundation, developing the right habits and preparing the Class of 2035 to compete on the Jr 3SSB Circuit next year.

🚨 OFFICIAL PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Please help us welcome Coach L.J. to the D1TV Jokers family as our Speed and Agility Trainer!

Coach L.J., owner of WONS Training, will work with our athletes throughout the year on speed, agility, explosiveness, conditioning and overall athletic development.

His playing career included two years at Rutgers University before continuing at Northern Michigan University. He has dedicated his life to training and currently works with athletes across basketball, football, soccer and volleyball. He is also completing an ISSA personal training course to become a certified personal trainer.

This is another major step toward providing our players with the complete development needed to compete at the highest level. We’re excited to have Coach L.J. working with our program and preparing our athletes for the Adidas circuit!

Welcome Coach Rehaad Hunter to the D1TV Jokers family! 🃏

Coach Hunter will serve as the Head Coach of our Class of 2032 7th Grade team. He brings valuable experience from coaching at both the 8th Grade and 17U levels this year, along with previously assisting at the 7th Grade level.

We’re excited to have Coach Hunter leading this group and helping us continue to build something special!
