Special shoutout to our crew of certified high school wrestlers/officials who did a great job working a youth meet at Sidney! It is great to see this group working so much and leading the next generation of officials.

Officially ended our season tonight with our year end banquet. Appreciate all the members who were able to come and enjoy the night. Special congratulations to our President David Friend for being this years recipient of the Bruce M Doll Contributor Award. Dave’s contributions to wrestling are invaluable and we all appreciate the work he has done and wil continue to do.

We are sorry to inform our community that legendary wrestling coach Scott Newburg from Northmont HS has passed away. Scott was a member of the GMVWA Coaches Hall of Fame. He coached at Northmont for 33 years. Below is Scott's obituary, and details of his funeral services, as well as a link to donate money to the family to help offset his funeral costs.

🚨🤼‍♀️ GIRLS WRESTLING: The inaugural girls wrestling state tournament in March 2023 will be held alongside the three divisions of the boys wrestling state tournament at The Schottenstein Center at The Ohio State University.
