Our campers had the wildest week of fun during Week 6: Into the Wild Camp! 🐐🐍🐅

From a visit with goats from The Grazing Ground, to meeting amazing animals with Arrowhead Reptile Rescue, to exploring and seeing so many incredible animals at the Cincinnati Zoo, this week was packed with adventure, learning, and lots of smiles!

We had the best time roaring, crawling, and exploring through all things wild! 🦁🌿

We’re Hiring: Recreation Coordinator – Fitness

The City of Vandalia is accepting applications for a Recreation Coordinator – Fitness within the Parks and Recreation Department.

This is an important and highly respected position in one of the City’s most visible and valued departments. Vandalia takes tremendous pride in offering high-quality parks, recreation facilities, programs and services that enhance the lives of our residents — and the Recreation Coordinator – Fitness plays a key role in making that happen.

The selected candidate will help keep Vandalia moving by developing and overseeing year-round fitness programs, coordinating fitness classes and special events, managing program schedules, evaluating programs based on interest and attendance, and helping ensure the Vandalia Recreation Center continues to offer quality programming in a top-tier, state-of-the-art facility.

This position also helps promote public awareness of fitness through flyers, presentations, social media, media events and news releases; responds to public inquiries; supports community events; and helps identify new fitness trends and opportunities for the future. It is a great opportunity for someone who is energetic, organized, creative and passionate about helping people live healthier lives.
