Team Platinum and driver Kody Swanson are at Jennerstown Speedway. Today is practice day for tomorrow’s Motor Mountain Masters 150.

Team Platinum with driver Kody Swanson, are in Nashville for the Master of the Pro’s 150. The end of Fridays practice showed Kody P6 of 44 cars. More practice Saturday morning with qualifying and racing in the afternoon.

It was a hot day for racing at Xenia, Ohio’s Kil-Kare Speedway. There was a large crowd that came to see the racing action on the oddly shaped 3/8 mile oval. The headliner for the day was the CRA Jegs All Star Tour Dayton 100, presented by Platinum Express. Team Platinum had 2 entries for the event, the #26, driven by 5 time USAC Silver Crown Champion Kody Swanson, and the #7, driven by NASCAR Champion and Hall of Famer, Bobby Labonte. The #7 sported a throw back paint scheme of Bobby’s championship season at Caraway Speedway. Bobby was able to grab fast time in qualifying, but due to a rule on testing during days right prior to the event, would have to start 15th. Kody, similarly would end up starting 16th. The two Team Platinum drivers, would work their way through the traffic with Bobby eventually finishing P2, and Kody P4.
